6 star attorney in my book

If you need legal defense fast , courteous, friendly, and on the ball call, call Joseph Lento. Unfair treatment by one of your kids at college, don’t expect to get any help from the administration. I could not get a phone call or an email from anyone at the school. Lento stepped in with a plan and so...lved our problem. You cannot solve student problems without help. The school administration will ignore you. You need the Joseph Lento firm.problem solved.

Academic Misconduct Charges Dismissed

I was accused of academic misconduct in my PhD program. I had worked too hard and invested too much money to have my career put at risk. I contacted Mr. Lento's firm and Mr. Lento personally followed up with me. We discussed options, potential consequences, and how to best address the charges agai...nst me. When all was said and done, Mr. Lento helped me through a very difficult time in life and helped me clear my name.

Absolutely incredible.

When my son (who's standing here with me while I'm typing up this review just to make sure his appreciation of Mr. Lento comes through in these words) and I got thrown without warning into the confusing waters of trying to navigate a false Title IX accusation for the first time, we honestly felt blin...d throughout most of the process. His university's vague, terse, and confusing communication regarding the processes involved in a Title IX hearing was far from sufficient, and being new to these sorts of situations made us very worried (to say the least), especially when considering just how serious the consequences of these cases can be. Although he didn't do what he was accused of, due to our lack of knowledge of how these sorts of situations are handled, it felt at times like we were grasping at anything and everything we could to prove his innocence instead of having a coherent plan. When we requested Mr. Lento's services about halfway through the process, all those fears were soon allayed (at least, as much as they could have been). The consistent sense of clarity and direction inherent in both Mr. Lento's communication and the general way he handled the process was reassuring in that it helped us feel grounded for the first time in 4 months since the process began. For the first time, we felt a sense of hope and a modicum of confidence in the midst of everything that was happening, and that was almost entirely the result of Mr. Lento's words and actions. When it came to the hearing itself, Mr. Lento was once again exemplary in his services. He went the extra distance for us by being present via video conference throughout the trial, gave us incredibly well-written statements and detailed questions to use in the trial, and offered valuable advice and support the whole time. We honestly underestimated the value of having him available via video conference during the proceedings - having him there during the hearing itself proved incredibly valuable and gave my son and me more comfort and ease than we could have possibly hoped for. In essence, everything Mr. Lento did for us, both before and during the trial, went above and beyond our hopes and expectations of a Title IX attorney, and we would duly and eagerly recommend him for anyone else finding themselves in a similarly difficult situation. (P.S. after 5 months of ire, my son won an innocent verdict in his trial, and this right outcome have been an extremely unlikely one if not for Mr. Lento's services!)

Title IX

When I first learned that I was the subject of a Title IX investigation it was at the worst time in my life, especially since it was during finals week. I didn't want to take any risks because I knew what the stakes can be in these situations. If you are considering whether it is worth it to get a la...wyer, especially Joe, for these things let me address a few points and express why it was worth it in my case. 1. The school has already stacked the deck against you. Your school's Title IX investigators have much more experience dealing with this than you do so it is important to find help from an expert to even the odds. 2. Every case is unique and if you're lucky like I was there may be a massive loop hole or flaw in the complainaint's case that can be used to protect yourself from a finding of responsible 3. Most importantly, at this point in your life your education is the most valuable thing you have. I was in year 4 of a 6 year program so I had already spent over $100,000 on my education and it was critical to protect that investment as well as my future as a professional Joe has all the qualities of a great attorney. He is honest and tells you what you can hope for as well as how things may go wrong. He is empathetic and obviously wants the best for his clients no matter what. He is always available at almost all hours of the day. He works extremely hard and he makes time for his clients. I have seen this stated before, but you do feel like his only client. You can tell he has a massive amount of experience with Title IX even from his consultation. Hiring Joe at the beginning of the process was a great decision on my end as he was able to help me put together my side of the story such that all complaints were dropped and I only needed to meet with school officials once before everything was dropped. Every case is different but if you are the subject of an investigation of any kind the most important thing to do is to keep quiet and get a lawyer immediately. I can't recommend Joe enough

Academic Misconduct - Charges Dismissed

Mr. Lento is a true gentleman and a great lawyer. He is very easy to get in touch with, organized, and timely. I was in a rather unique situation that seemed to be clear-cut in my favor. I was charged with Academic Misconduct. Specifically, I was charged with unauthorized access to exams; not nec...essarily cheating on exams. The Testing Department OTA and the Academic Integrity Committee seemed very one-sided during the process (as if their mind was made up before it began). All the charges against me were speculation and assumptions; no hard evidence. Mr. Lento guided and set me up through the entire frustrating, stressful, and prolonged hearing/case. Ultimately, Mr. Lento was able to get the charges dismissed by the Office of the Provost, which was the last resort other than filing a state lawsuit. In result, the university dropped all charges from my record, reinstated my enrollment, and allowed me to graduate and receive my Bachelor's Degree immediately (I had finished the entire degree curriculum prior to the charges being made).
