You get what you pay for.

I had what I thought was a simple divorce. I met with Steve Mandel and was immediately impressed. He seemed to know exactly what to do and I loved his office. But I thought that since my husband and I agreed on most things I could use a cheaper lawyer. I was soooo wrong. It became a disaster and... the lawyer I had clearly was not up to the task and was billing me for work that didn’t need to be done. After 6 months of this, I swallowed my pride and went back to Steve. He made me feel comfortable and set out a plan after asking him to give me a WISH list, WANT list and NEED list. Since Steve knew exactly what he was doing and was so efficient with his time, it probably cost me less than I would have spent had I stayed with the other lawyer. And Steve uncovered “hidden assets” so I got more than I ever imagined I would have. The bottom line is that he even though Steve may charge more per hour than some bargain lawyers out there, he’ll get you great results for no more money in the end.

What the legal profession should be all about!

The best decision I ever made when deciding to divorce was hiring Steve Mandel as my attorney. I felt that Steve was there for me 24/7. His expert guidance, reassuring nature, thorough knowledge of the law (and even bad jokes) was exactly what I needed to win custody of my children and keep me sane... in the process I will always be in your debt. THANK YOU, Steve for EVERYTHING!

Great Divorce Lawyer

I worked with Steven on a dual jurisdictional marital issue. He's very patient and knowledgeable. His work is diligent and time. He's very fair. I recommend him highly.

Your case certainly was a challenge. I'm just happy that "justice" and we prevailed ;)

One year

November 13, 2024 marks one year since I was blindsided in court. Failure to diagnose is serious and the ramifications more. Told I had no choice but to attend I knew that was not true. Mandel created that story on his own because the judge never requested my presence and was extremely disrespectfu...l. The defense was rude, insulting and sat there pointing little pieces of paper claiming I had to sign more authoizations they never expired. My injuries more serious and what she claimed a lie. She and the judge seemed in sync and that’s when I dropped the case. I received no defense in court. This past year has been horrible and I’m now in more powerful meds to alleviate the pain in my jaw. It’s sad that no one truly cares. Berger has no warmth it’s all about money and more. One year is not a long time but it’s been rough and I lost a lot of weight since I can no longer eat solid foods.what happened to me can happen to anyone!

Worst Attorney!

I came to this firm thinking my problems would be taken seriously, instead I was given an incompetent lawyer who dodge 80% of every call that I made to the firm. I eventually had enough and fired Steven and his firm. I would not recommend Steven to any of my friends and family. That would be an injus...tice to them.
