I contemplated filing for bankruptcy for at least a year. I tried to come up with ways to see how to pay my bills, after the feeling of drowning in debt overcame me, I searched online for a bankruptcy lawyer. She gave me a quick phone consultation and arranged a time for me to come in and told me what to come in with. I gathered my materials and was a nervous wreck on my way to her office. Concerned about my debt this past summer, I decided to go to a cookie cutter bankruptcy law firm for help. After a 30 minutes meeting, I decided to go with their services. After concerns that I would just be treated as a number and not a person by this law firm and upon the advice of a friend of ...mine, I went looking again for a different attorney.
