I finally made the difficult decision this year to come to terms and tackle head first all of my issues - health wise, physically, emotionally, financially, etc. I was tired and fed up with myself and the direction my life was going so I decided to take action, and filing for bankruptcy was one of t...hose scary decisions I had to make. I researched plenty of lawyers online, spoke with a few and even went to meet one for a free consultation which was horrible. The guy wouldn't even look me in the eye as he was going through my information and basically throughout the entire meeting! I knew I would just be another number to him and that scared me because this is my life and livelihood on the line. I called Lieber & Lieber after doing additional research and spoke to Barbie. After searching through the internet and making an umpteenth amount of calls, I came across Lieber and Lieber’s website. The site was so informative! So, even though I was discouraged from the other attorneys that I spoke to, I decided to leave a message. Barbie called me back the same day; which ...was a holiday that fell on a Saturday. I assumed I would be called back that Monday or maybe even later that week at best. I explained my situation, she listened and answered my questions and addressed my concerns. Barbie was so encouraging and caring. I wanted to make an appointment with Barbie, but when I found out her office was on the 21st Floor I explained to her that I am claustrophobic and cannot take elevators. Barbie told me that it was no problem because there was a diner in the lobby, and she would come down and meet with me. Once we met I was positive that I made the perfect choice! The other attorneys I spoke to barely listened and they sounded like they were reading from a script. They wouldn’t answer any questions, until, of course, I met with them and made a payment. When I met with Barbie, I brought more documents then I even needed to. Barbie looked over and made notes on each and every one and she remembered things from our phone conversation.
