After looking at all options to resolve our debt on our own, my wife and I decided to look for a bankruptcy attorney after credit card companies were not interested in working with us. Drowning in financial difficulties, I was overwhelmed with shame. I also felt shame in the prospect of filing for bankruptcy, so it was the last thing that I would have expected to do.
