Today, Barbie accompany me at my 341 Meeting. I got number 48, the last 3 people left on the room. But with her, i'm sure that i can end my nightmare today. And i will start my life again for bright future, i'm positive with that. I just lost my house at 2010 because of Foreclosure. At 2008. i l...ost my jobs and i'm a mother with 5 kids. That time, i try to contact one lawyer at Flushing about my situation. Because i can't pay my mortgage and i have a lot of credit card debts. Since i live in Queens, i decided to contact one bankruptcy lawyer at Flushing. After i paid $350 for first time consultation with that lawyer Mr Q, instead of he helping me, he just cursing on me for whole 1 hour our consultation. After that i went home, try to change my phone number, since i already give Mr Q my phone number. And i start living with nightmare, i'm scare to death for the past 4 years.After that i didn't do anything about my situation. I just flow like water in the river, Because i really have no idea what i have to do. This year, my husband just got his tax return, since we have joint account. Of course tax return money, we just leave it in our saving account for emergency, not much approx $4000. But for us, that's money mean a lot after everything we lost, especially we have 5 kids. You never know, what will happen. On May 11 '2012, we just got our big suprise. That day i woke up and my husband asking me to take some money from bank, since 1 day before i just deposit his pay stuff. And when i try to go to ATM, actually one message show up on the screen said "Please contact customer service" And then i went home, i call customer service, they transfer my call to their legal department. And bank legal department explain to me that our account "Frozen" because of garnishment (or something like that). I really don't know what's going on. After that i try to check on the internet again about my situation and i decide to give it one more try to hire lawyer. This time luck on my side, because i found Barbie. I still remember, on Saturday i try to leave her message, even my husband told me that he think Barbie will not reply my message, especially is she is very good lawyer. The next day, i got email from her, that she trying to contact my creditor and other people to help me to remove the judgment against me, since i already submit my file for bankruptcy. On Wednesday May 16 '2012 , my bank contact me and told me that my bank account already active. Because creditor already removed their judgment against me. And today ( June 20 '2012) she accompany me more than 3 hours to wait for my 341 meeting. And try to calm me. I really blessed to have Barbie as my attorney, because i saw so many people who pay lawyer and their lawyer not even show up. If you have any situation like mine or more than mine. As the date of the 341 hearing approached, Barbie stayed in frequent contact with me…both asking and answering questions. I felt confident going into the hearing because of her detailed preparation…preparation that also included a role-playing of what I could expect at the 341 hearing with the Trustee. On the day of the hearing, Barbie was present and representing multiple clients of hers. One again, in spite of her case load, she provided me with one-on-one attention and a case review prior to our appearance before the trustee. Prior to my case being called, I was able to witness other cases (clients represented by other attorneys). I was in disbelief as I saw several examples of what can happen as a result of poor preparation. One attorney failed to provide the trustee with necessary documents until the very day of the hearing. Needless to say, that hearing did not go well. Another attorney altogether misrepresented several items contained in one of the affidavits…causing the case to be adjourned. I can only imagine the frustration felt by their client as they'll need to go through that process all over again. My meeting with the trustee went very smoothly. I witnessed the trustee reviewing my well-written case and (as a result of Barbie's detail) asking me much fewer questions (than other cases I witnessed). By the way, my case was incredibly complicated and where many attorneys might have taken that opportunity to charge additional fees, Barbie did not. I guess I could summarize this review by saying…if you choose Barbie, you will not regret it. Thanks Barbie!
