In april of 2009, I filed for bankruptcy. thinking all of my debts were clear. I reached out to one of the creditors, which was a college. In hopes of getting my transcripts, I reached out to the college to find out that the college was originally left out of the contract. the college and the collect...ion agency refused to acknowledge the release of the debt(since it was not a student loan, the debt can be legally discharged). after many attempts to talk to the collection agency, college and my previous attorney(with no help from them). no one was willing to help, that's when I found Barbie Lieber, she quickly took notes and got a grasp of my situation. she was able to determine that debt was discharged even though it was not included in the bankruptcy contract, there for leaving me eligible to receive a official transcript. she fired off a letter to both the college and the collection agency. getting the collection agency to refund a payment I sent in order to receive my transcripts and to clear my remaining balance, leaving me in good standing with both. Barbie was compassionate, efficient, and speedy, I hired Barbie 4/5/2013, by 4/15 I had a responses from the collection agency and a refund check in the mail. This is the first review I post in the internet ever. I probably won't have enough words to thank Barbie. I literally lived a nightmare for the past two years. Now I can breath, I can sleep, and I can enjoy my life all over again. Spitfire Lightning! Barbie Lieber is a force of nature and creditors better get out of her way! My husband and I found ourselves in financial trouble when I lost my job and the creditors started relentlessly coming after us. Barbie explained everything that was going to happen and how it was going to... happen and why it was going to happen but most importantly WHEN it was going to happen, let me explain. I lost my job, we lived paycheck to paycheck but the paycheck wasn’t so bad while I was getting it. Sure, we could have filed for bankruptcy chapter 13 immediately BUT, if we just waited for a few months to go by, we could file for chapter 7.
