Phenomenal exceptional Lawyer

I want to Thank Barbie Leiber from the bottom of my heart knowing these words are not sufficient enough for helping out with this bankruptcy. When I first consulted with Barbie she was gracious and very compassionate. She took me through all the steps one by one and if I had questions I would email h...er and she would respond promptly. She was on point and very well prepared and known in the industry as a very knowledgeable, trustworthy, proactive lawyer. Because of you I have fresh beginning and this could not have been done without your help. You were right on point with the 341 meeting. It was definitely was a bit nerve racking. I rarely get rattled but when I got to the front I felt at peace and that's a to Barbie expertise Testament to your expertise and accuracy and dedication. I got in front of the trustee and in less than 2 minutes of questioning it was over with. She informed the Trustee of everything prior to the 341 meeting. I was sitting waiting for me turn which was approximately 1-1/2 and I have say there was a lot of lawyers were not prepared and some of the cases lasted long because their lawyers were not prepared. I am gracious and thankful for retaining Barbie Leiber

Absolutely the Best Bankruptcy Attorney

After trying for almost two years to manage mounting credit card bills, payment arrangements, and ever-increasing tax assessments, I reluctantly concluded that I should file for bankruptcy. My case was not straightforward; it was complicated by the fact that my personal finances overlapped with inco...me received from a small business operation, and I had personal tax liens filed against me. In deciding to file for bankruptcy, I knew I would need to engage an attorney who would not only defend my interests but one who would take a personal interest in my case. Barbie Lieber is just such an attorney. Indeed, I had consulted with two other attorneys prior to meeting with her. When my initial consultation with Barbie was over, I knew that I had found the kind of attorney I was looking for – the kind of attorney that I could trust. Barbie will never view you or treat you as merely “just another client”. She is not only an extremely capable attorney with a great deal of experience with bankruptcy cases as complex as mine, she has the added quality that anyone going through the turmoil of bankruptcy really needs – empathy. Barbie is genuinely concerned about how you, as a person, will manage AFTER the bankruptcy proceedings have concluded, and she’s not hesitant about offering you advice in that regard. If you are fortunate to have Barbie represent you before the Bankruptcy trustee (and she will be there with you in person – she does not outsource your case to some unknown lawyer as other firms sometimes do) you’ll find that Barbie has prepared you –over and over again - for every possible contingency. She leaves no detail, no matter how small, unattended. I have a tremendous amount of respect for Barbie; and she will always have my undying gratitude for the manner in which she handled my case. I wholeheartedly recommend her to you without any reservations whatsoever.

Thank You

Dear Barbie- For over 20 years our business thrived through all economic conditions until the fall of 2008 when the bottom dropped out. Needless to say, we were not alone. A friend and associate of mine, and a client of yours, recommended we talk with you. As the ‘great recession’ persist...ed, our debt continued to climb to the point where we did not know what to do as we tried to hold it together until things started getting better. The intricacies of the financial world are a mystery to me. Fortunately, we had you lead us through the chaos and out of the wilderness created by the irresponsible behavior of the “Too-Big-to-Fail-Banks.” Thank you so much for your help. Now, I am relieved and able to focus on growing the business and am very pleased to report that we are rapidly retaking lost ground. This would have been impossible without you, your help, and your handholding! Best regards, John

Drowning in financial difficulties, but rescued by an excellent lawyer, Barbie Lieber

Drowning in financial difficulties, I was overwhelmed with shame. I also felt shame in the prospect of filing for bankruptcy, so it was the last thing that I would have expected to do. However, my husband went ahead and scheduled an appointment with Barbie Lieber. The prospect of bankruptcy caused me... to be anxious. However, as soon as I met Barbie and heard her speaking about the whole process to file a chapter 13, I felt instant relief because she gave me confidence and made me feel that things would be all right. Her professionalism, focus on the details, explanation about this bankruptcy process, motivation, good timely manner and effectiveness made me think that we were in good hands and helped ease the process. She made me us recognize this process as part of a human situation in life, as a common thing that could happen to anyone in a daily basis. We want to thank Barbie because she gave us great advice to wait to file the bankruptcy until we actually signed the loan modification agreement for our first mortgage so that we could be assured that we would not have to redo the whole loan modification process once in bankruptcy. Thank you so much for that. Finally, the level of anxiety went down the day of court. We finally could get through this in a confident and effective manner because we got to court an hour earlier than the time assigned and Barbie was there early to prepare us and gave us the best orientation possible before the court time. We successfully excelled in front of the judge because of Barbie’s professional preparation. I couldn’t sleep last night thinking about what other people I know said to me about the bad process they went through with bankruptcy court process. However, it was not like that for us, because Barbie had everything in order and under control due to her very well knowledgeable professional experience for us. Also, during our day in court, it was terrible to see other people who were with lawyers who did not prepare them with all the documentation necessary for the judge, not even having a simple Social security or an identification card or other important documentations. I also witnessed clients waiting for lawyers who never showed up to court, while our Barbie prepared us in such a professional way. Barbie was always available for any questions we had. I consider Barbie a wonderful lawyer that I would recommend her to any one. She was very precise with the explanation on the forms she has to render to the court on the schedule J and I. She prepared these forms so well that even the judge did not question the forms too much; that’s how good they were prepared in a truly and accurate way. Barbie is so thorough. She calls over and over to us to strategize with us for our meeting; thinking of all the questions that could be asked of us and we were prepared to answer them with confident in front of the trustee. She prepared all the documents so thoroughly, the trustee only asked us just three to four questions and the process resulted in the closing of the hearing. This great lawyer is she treated us all the time with dignity, respect and showed compassion and support; however, I don’t have more words to gratify her for the wonderful work she did with us representing us as a Bankruptcy lawyer. We Thank God we found Barbie in our path, I think she is like an angel from God, to relieve us and wake us up from our nightmare we went through all these years with all the debts we had. We will always appreciate her dedication and good treatment she had for us, Thanks to Barbie, now we can have a secure and pleasant sleep at night. Finally, we just heard the wonderful news that Barbie was able to successfully strip off an

A talented attorney and a wonderful human being

August 9, 2011 Barbie, I just received news from you that my case was discharged and wanted to take the opportunity to thank you for an amazing job. Despite my education and business experience, I went into this process with a high degree of fear and skepticism. Having just finished a hig...hly litigious four year divorce, I was weary of lawyers and of the legal process, which I came to view as a broken system. I feared that this would be another stacked-deck that would fleece me of what little remained of a once prosperous life, while saddling me with a mountain of debt. Interviews with several other bankruptcy lawyers reinforced these fears until I was referred to you by a prominent attorney in another field. I recognized immediately that you were different; your candor, compassion, integrity, and general concern were differentiating factors. I took a leap of faith and scratched together the fund necessary to retain your firm. It turned out to be one of the best investments I’ve ever made. From the beginning, you were meticulous in both your preparedness and your explanation of the “process.” Your approach was proactive, organized, and methodical. You left nothing to chance. You made yourself available to me day and night – weekday and weekend; it provided me with a high degree of comfort in a foreign environment. The preparation for the “341 meeting” was thorough and well-rehearsed – I felt confident going into that hearing. During the 341, you were professional, yet compassionate in your presentation of my case. When the trustee raised concern over an issue, you addressed it immediately and were prepared with documents to back-up our position. You also successfully negotiated with a large and difficult creditor. By way of comparison, I’ve worked with a lot of highly skilled attorneys and view your acumen in the courtroom as second to none. It’s worth mentioning that my situation may have been more complicated and required a more sophisticated attorney than the average Chapter 7 filing. As you know, I had just completed a lengthy divorce, which entailed the sale of a business, the sale of a Fifth Avenue co-op, a career transition, court-mandated payments, IRS problems, and a myriad of other issues. You were able to simplify these issues and manage them during the process, so they did not encumber our ability to effectuate a timely discharge. Ultimately, you were able to discharge every single debt – a total of $238,000. In addition, even though my case evolved into a highly complex case for a personal bankruptcy, you never once asked for more money; something that is unheard of. I believe that your general concern for my wellbeing was paramount to your own financial gain. Lastly, you were wonderful to work with and I am grateful to now have you as a friend. While I hope that none of my friends or family has to go through this process, it gives me comfort to know that if they do, you would be there to protect them. Warmest regards, David
