This is the first review I post in the internet ever. I sent Mrs. Lieber an email 3 months ago because I thought I was going to go crazy or had a heart attack due to the amount of debts I had I accumulated over the past year. I really did not know what to expect when I sent her the email. I was very ...honest with my situation and explained everything to her in details. She replied my email right away (Sunday night) and from that moment on, she completely took me over her wings and guided thru the whole bankruptcy process. I can't begin to describe the incredible amount of support she offered me since day one. She noticed that I was going thru a period of depression and emotional turbulence, and tried to always keep me with a positive attitude. Spitfire Lightning! Barbie Lieber is a force of nature and creditors better get out of her way! My husband and I found ourselves in financial trouble when I lost my job and the creditors started relentlessly coming after us. Barbie explained everything that was going to happen and how it was going to... happen and why it was going to happen but most importantly WHEN it was going to happen, let me explain. I lost my job, we lived paycheck to paycheck but the paycheck wasn’t so bad while I was getting it. Sure, we could have filed for bankruptcy chapter 13 immediately BUT, if we just waited for a few months to go by, we could file for chapter 7. Very tricky calculation done on Barbie’s part to ensure it worked out this way BUT, it did and we are forever in her debt for her amazing expertise and knowledge of the bankruptcy laws. In fact, her knowledge and how she explains things is so thorough, I could probably file myself now, HAH! She analyzed the case so thoroughly that we were able to file for chapter 7 bankruptcy instead of simply settling on 13. Sometimes faster is not better but I know she can do fast too, why? In fact, you’d be foolish not too. Moreover, I have made a friend for life and I owe her my life too. She went above and beyond the call of lawyer duty. She doesn’t need to “fight for your rights” because she knows your rights already.

Barbie was great to work with. She made the whole process fast and easy, AND she asked all the important questions! Bankruptcy is a very nerve wracking process, and even though I was nervous, I knew I was in good hands.... The day of my hearing, there were so many people who got their case detaine...d because they, or their lawyer, didn't submit extremely important information (like the sale of a house) in the paperwork! As soon as I sat down with Barbie, she started asking me all the questions these other lawyers seemed to overlook. I felt very well taken cared of. Barbie is the Greatest is the least of what I can say about Barbie Lieber. she has helpded my family get through some very difficult times with her expertise. At one point I had no Idea how we would make it from from one week to the next as we were just over our heads financially. we never thought... that we were candidates for bankruptcy and even considered Debt management, which turned out to be the worst thing anyone could ever do.
