I approached Daniel with my complicated divorce case in January 2015. I was unsure of the steps involved as both my ex-spouse and I were non-US aliens (Canadian citizens), we were both incommunicado, and I had relocated to New York after our separation but she had since moved back to India. We had si...gned a separation aggreement in Canada, which though legal in Canada was not completely compliant with New York regulation.
