I had spoken to another lawyer who told me I would have to live for a year in New York before I could apply for a divorce. Never one to give up, I selected Daniel Yaniv from google, and discovered I had made a great choice. He took some background info, told me to stop stressing, and assured me I... could apply immediately and have my divorce in 6 months, or for an extra fee 90 days or even 30 days. And it was true. Divorce just finalized! It would have been sooner, but my husband unintentionally failed to send in the notarized docs. I feel that the legal assistant should have picked up on this with a simple tickler file and notified me. It would have saved the extra time and money it cost us to get the divorce. My ex ended up paying for a 90 day divorce and then a thirty day divorce. He was at fault, but I hold the legal assistant responsible as well. The prices, however, were extremely reasonable.
