Divorce is a difficult/ hard thing to deal with . Its a process which is very traumatic. It took me three years to actually decide to file for a divorce, and then when I finally decided, I goggled to find where to go. Talking to Daniel was very comforting, he answered all my questions and gave me great advice as what would be favorable for me and my kids. I wasn't transferred from agent to agent. He personally, replied to all my emails. I would call and he will make sure to call me back. I am very thankful to him and his team of associates even the para legal staff, friendly and efficient. I handled my divorce from some distance with this firm. My divorce, initially estimated at 3-4 months, will end up taking just over a year. I was told this was due to backup in the NY courts due to Hurricane Katrina. I never received the initial papers that were to have been sent by postal mail servi...ce to sign and return, only by email. To be sure I wasn't missing other mailed updates and information, I kept checking in with the attorney assigned to me (Abraham Weiss), who was pleasant to work with, and he responded to my requests for current status in a timely manner.

We used Yaniv and Associates for our uncontested divorce as a referral from a friend. Daniel Yaniv was responsive in all stages for the process. The process itself was simple and efficient. We filled out a questionnaire containing all the stipulations of the agreement, and the lawyer drafted the a...greement from the questionnaire. Daniel was also helpful in explaining the different options that were available for custody, property division, and other aspects of the divorce. Overall, I'm glad they made the process very simple for us.

We started our divorce process in VA but cancelled everything when we moved to NYC. I thought it would take months if not a year to start everything over. It took less than a month start to finish! I was shocked! We actually had our divorce finalized faster than if we had finished everything in V...A the year before. We did pay for expidited service. While divorce is difficult, Daniel and his associates made the process a comfortable and easy one. I assume the price was fair although we did not do a lot of looking around.
