A Fast, Easy, Affordable Process!

When my husband and I realized that it would be in our best interests to divorce, we thought that as an older couple who had no children and who had kept finances separate, ending the marriage would be simple and straightforward. We were in for a major surprise. I was shocked by the quotes we receive...d for the attorneys' fees, but even more shocking was how long we could expect the process to take! Nothing was quick or easy about getting a divorce! I researched Quick Divorces online and was particularly impressed by the reviews that had been posted for Yaniv & Associates. I made a phone call after hours to request more information about the process. The very next morning I had a phone call from Daniel Yaniv himself! He explained in detail the process of divorce in New York City. Because of a backlog of cases. filing in the 5 boroughs would NOT be quick and easy at all. By filing in an upstate county where there are fewer petitions for divorce, ours could be fast tracked. Mr. Yaniv explained the price structure for the divorce, and during the entire process there were never any hidden fees or costs. Everything was presented upfront and explained clearly. After we chose our options for the divorce, we were sent the documents online in a PDF file. After completing and notarizing the forms, we mailed them back, and very shortly we received another e-mail stating that the papers had arrived at the office. Included in the e-mail was a short list of when we could expect to hear from the firm again. It stated that we would not be receiving an update on the exact date that the file was submitted to the court, but the next update would be sent once our divorce had been finalized and a Judgment Granted. As it happened, this winter was one of the coldest, snowiest on record. Many state offices were shut down because roads were impassible and travel was just too dangerous for commuters. I was anxious to hear the status of our divorce petition so I left a message for Mr. Yaniv. The only reason I didn't give all 'Excellent' in my ratings, was because I didn't hear back. It took another call to discover that the petition was before the judge, and it would just be a matter of time before the divorce was granted. Had I gotten a quicker call back, my review would be higher. However, even with that one bleep on the radar screen, the divorce was remarkably quick and as painless as possible. I highly recommend Yaniv & Associates for a fast, efficient, very reasonably priced divorce experience!

responsible, responsive lawyers

we had an uncontested divorce, but even in our search for a lawyer, we had such bad experiences that at some point we stopped our search due to lawyer-induced stress. once we resumed our search and were lucky to find yaniv & associates, our process became stress-free, straight forward and uncomplica...ted. everyone we interacted with at the yaniv group was professional, polite, knowledgeable, reassuring, and didn't project any negative attitude. we are very grateful and relieved and would recommend them wholeheartedly. in fact, i already recommended them to two of my contacts.

They made the process incredibly easy

I would happily recommend this agency's services. I was very nervous about filing for divorce. My case was time sensitive and so there wasn't much room for error with completing all of the paperwork, filing it, and having the divorce granted. Additionally, I live in the UK and my ex lives in the USA,... so I was concerned about the logistics of getting the paperwork signed and sent back to the USA. Yaniv and Associates talked me through the process. Their instructions were very clear and they followed up by sending me an e-mail with all of the steps in the process clearly written out. I received confirmation e-mails every step of the way which told me in clear and simple detail what was happening, what sorts of time frames to expect, and what the next steps were. It all seemed too good to be true - I have always heard how difficult going through a divorce is but they made it very straightforward. Additionally, whenever I spoke to a member of staff they were very helpful and calm and because of that I felt quite calm throughout. True to their word, everything proceeded smoothly and according to the time frames I had been given. I am now on the other side and very grateful that my ex located this firm and decided to employ them.

I never imagined a simple, painless divorce could be possible!

The process of a divorces has got to be one of the most complicated and harrowing experiences I've come up against in the past 10 years of my life. Because of my fear and hesitation to jump into the fire I been living in the misery of a bad marriage for the better part of those 10 years. I knew a d...ivorce was the only solution but I wasn't in any hurry to go through what I imagined would be a torturous process. I was much more willing to suffer the bad marriage. Finally, enough was enough. I was telling a friend that I needed to speak to a lawyer to get started in the dreaded process of a divorce. He asked me a few questions and discovered that, although my then wife and I were miserable in our marriage together, we really only wanted to end the marriage and move on with our lives. Other than our son, we just wanted to pick up whatever we had brought into the marriage and go our separate ways. My friend said this is exactly what an uncontested divorce is and he knew someone who was highly skilled in that field. Well, highly skilled really doesn't even do Daniel justice. I contacted Daniel that night and he called me back and gave me a quick talk through (this was a Sunday night around 10 PM). The next day I called the firm and officially enlisted his services. He answered every question that I had as well as any concerns my wife had. He encouraged my wife and I to communicate and really work out what each of us wanted to do on several specific issues such as child custody, pensions, the house we jointly owned, etc... With all the information in front of us and the confidence of having someone like Daniel to help walk us through this complicated process we were able to agree on all the specifics in a relatively short period of time. If only the previous 10 years of marriage had gone this smoothly! We received our paperwork, signed it, sent it back and today, just a little over 2 months since I had that conversation with my friend, we are officially divorced. I can't thank Daniel enough for his help through this process. I really wish I had know about Yaniv Law Associates years ago. Divorce can be a confusing, complicated nightmare but when you have someone on your side who can answer all your questions, offer simple solutions to what you had imagined to be insurmountable problems and then walk you through the entire process then it's not nearly as daunting as one would imagine. My now ex wife and I will continue to have an amicable relationship as we have a son to raise. I don't think this would have been possible had we gone through an ugly, contentious divorce. I've already recommended Daniel and his law firm to 2 other friends in similar situations to mine and will continue to recommend him to anyone who wants to get out a bad marriage situation and move on to a happier life. Being able to work out the details with your soon to be "ex" in order to come to an agreeable uncontested divorce may not appeal to every person but if you can, why not try to do it? With the right help, it's not the least bit traumatic. It's relatively painless. Everyone should have a chance at happiness again!
