I met Sabra Sasson when she was singing with a group of lawyers at a Rehab. Center in Manhattan's U.E.S. (where my husband was a patient). I spoke to Sabra as she had a pleasant smile and demeanor and I was interested in revising my will. I saved her tel. no. and called her when I was ready... to work on the will. Sabra was recommended to me by one of the strongest, most intelligent women I have ever met. Now that she has represented me, I regard Sabra that way too. I highly recommend her for untangling troublesome knots of all sorts. Negotiating what we could, when we could, IF we could, together in the light... of peace and communication early in the process or prior made a huge difference for my case. I first hired Sabra in 2019 when it was clear that my marriage was not working at all and that I was going to eventually relocate with small children so she got a joint custody order put in place. Sabra is a great mediator. She had more meaningful words with my husband in 20 minutes outside of a courtroom than I had had with my husband during the 4 years we had been married! I then hired her for the divorce proceeding in 2021. She communicated thoroughly and respectfully with me throughout the divorce process. My husband vanished when he saw the exceedingly harmless divorce proposal, creating a very tedious legal situation during which Sabra was able to skillfully produce resources for investigation and alternative service. There were just long periods of waiting and hoping. Sabra always provides a space where truths will surface. Unfortunately, during the time of waiting for the plaintiffs response, it became evident that his evasion was part of much more damaging ideological stubbornness and he refused to respond to the legal actions. His neglect had voiced itself through silence. Sabra, able to clearly assess what is just and present it to the courts, firmly slammed the door then.

I recently received a consultation from Sabra, and she was very helpful and generous with her knowledge regarding her specialty. It ultimately turned out I needed assistance from a lawyer licensed in a different state, and she was very forthright about this which further indicates her professionalism... and helpfulness.
