About me

Rachel G. Packer represents lenders and financial institutions in a variety of litigated matters.  She is admitted to practice law in New Jersey, New York, and the District of Columbia, as well as before the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Armed Forces and the U.S. District Courts for the District of New Jersey, and the Northern, Southern, Eastern, and Western Districts of New York. 


Ms. Packer has served as a judicial intern to the Honorable Rosemary Gambardella, U.S.B.J., in the United States Bankruptcy Court, District of New Jersey, and law clerk to the Honorable David B. Katz, J.S.C., in the Superior Court of New Jersey, Essex County. 


A recipient of the Dean's Merit Scholarship, Ms. Packer received her law degree from Rutgers School of Law – Newark, where she was Senior Staff Editor of the Rutgers Law Record, and a member of the Women’s Law Forum and the Domestic Violence Advocacy Project.  During her tenure at Rutgers, she served as a research assistant to Andrew Rothman, Associate Dean of Student Affairs, and Louis Raveson, Professor of Evidence. Culminating these achievements, Ms. Packer was honored with the Eric R. Neisser Pro Bono Service Award for her work with the Domestic Violence Advocacy Project.  


Ms. Packer is a Barrister of both the Brennan-Vanderbilt Inn of Court and the Bankruptcy Inn of Court, a member of the American Bar Association, and an Executive Committee Member of the NJSBA YLD.
