In response to the person based in Yonkers, NY who posted anonymously with the header “NO STARS IF I COULD.” I am based in Yonkers, NY and hired Mr. Portela who is currently representing my son in law in Yonker’s court. My son in law’s court hearing was scheduled for January 4th 2017. I am aware and... have confirmed with Mr. Portela that my son in law’s case is the ONLY case that he is working on out of Yonkers court at the present time. Most of his current cases are based out of NYC courts. Mr. Portela has ALWAYS appeared to the court hearings. He is a reputable, extremely professional, exceptionally knowledgeable and very attentive attorney. On JANUARY 4, 2018 Governor Cuomo Declared a State of Emergency Across New York City, Long Island and Westchester County. Due to the snowstorm. Yonkers ended up getting 10 inches of snow. Thereby, the January 4th hearing was rescheduled by the court. It is astonishing to me that someone would actually take the time to ANONYMOUSLY write such a false, disparaging and hateful review. I can attest firsthand, that the review is completely false. My only conclusion is that either the review was intended for another attorney. Due to the fact that I am the ONLY person who hired Mr. Portela out of Yonkers, NY or it may have been erroneously written in Mr. Portela’s page.
