Julie Rendelman - A Passionate Lawyer We Are Lucky to Have

Julie is a godsend. I created a mess of a situation where not only did we have to deal with my serious criminal charges, but I am also a registered Wall Street representative (Series 7 with FINRA) and if things didn’t go well with the criminal courts then I would have had major problems with my care...er. As soon as I got released from jail, which was ~22 hours after getting arrested, I frantically began calling lawyers and several were very convincing, but none seemed to understand the importance of having this case dealt with quickly so I could avoid losing my job! After speaking to several lawyers, I finally picked an attorney who claimed to understand the unique nature of my situation. This happened on a Thursday. This attorney said he successfully represented myriad clients and helped them overcome serious criminal charges while navigating them through the complex FINRA aspects so they could keep their jobs. However, something just didn’t feel right with this guy. He didn’t sound genuine and I felt as if he were just telling me anything I wanted to hear, not what I needed to hear, so I slept on it and then called him again the following morning to ask some follow-up questions. I’m not sure what happened because it seemed as if this guy was half-awake (or maybe he was hungover), but in less than 15 hours this attorney changed a lot of things he told me the previous night and I immediately noticed the inconsistencies. I was now officially stressed and was losing hope. I went back to searching and decided I needed to find someone who was a perfect fit for my situation. So after several more hours of searching, I came across Julie and wound up viewing a YouTube clip of her making impassioned closing remarks during the prosecution of that sicko Levi Aron, who murdered an 8 year old boy named Leiby Kletzky, in such a horrible way that would even put ISIS executioners to shame -- may Leiby rest in peace! Watching Julie speak with such passion got me curious so I contacted her and explained my situation in detail. I was facing felony prison time, the destruction of my career and could also be banned from Wall Street for having a serious felony conviction on my record. However, I didn’t have to explain the gravity of the consequences. After explaining the story in detail and telling her about myself, she knew exactly what was keeping me up at night. I was finally impressed and convinced she could help me. Julie saw me for who I really am, treated me well and even played the role of occasional therapist when things got stressful. Even though that’s not why I hired her, her treatment helped me calm down and think level headed and clearly about how best to go about things. When my first court appearance came up and it was time to perform, Julie whipped out the big guns (think The Guns of Navarone) and the results she got for me were just short of a miracle. She used her skills, knowledge of the NYC court systems, former expertise as a prosecutor and all of her wherewithal to ultimately get my charges dropped. I didn’t even get indicted! I was having nightmares about prison time, the permanent loss of my career, a tarnished reputation and of course I was worried about how I would put food on the table after doing prison time and losing my career. I doubt I am the type who can just live like a reformed felon. The shame alone would have killed me. If you need serious representation then call Julie ASAP!
