At first it was very hard getting a return call from Mr. Centeno, or even a meeting, then I was informed that he spends most of his days in the courts so meeting or even reaching him would be hard. He did however return all emails and keep me up to date the progression of divorce. I did the expedited... process and was very pleased at how fast it was, could have been quicker but it was done in the time frame I predicted. All in all it was a good job. Please note, if you are a person that need your hands held and an ear for someone to listen to you problems, this is not the firm for you. You will never meet them, they will not hold you hand, emails are the best you will do as far as having them listen to you crying but they will deliver on you divorce!! They are courteous and respectful. So happy client here, great job!!

When my spouse and I decided to divorce, I researched a number of firms, and I was so glad when I found David Centeno's firm. The process was very clearly spelled out on his site, and when I reached out to him, he quickly called me back for a consult. We started the process, and he was there (either ...through email or phone) whenever I had a question or needed guidance. I was pleasantly surprised at how all of the information I provided (in a somewhat haphazard manner - I was a tad emotional) was neatly organized into the documentation. Any changes that I requested were quickly made. Tristan was my main point of contact regarding the finalization of the documentation, the process for signing and constantly kept me appraised along the way as the papers made their way through the court. I had the first call with Mr. Centeno and I felt he was the attorney I needed to help me get my pre-nup done. I was out of the country so when I came back the first thing I did was reaching out to meet him in person and start with the pre-nup process. After many attempts he finally answered and we se...t a meeting. I went to his office and there was NO ONE for the meeting, I called him from the lobby and when he finally answered it seemed like he had absolutely forgot about the meeting. He apologized and set another meeting that he cancelled again a few hours before the time of the meeting. I went again and the 3rd time they FINALLY let me come up but Mr. Centeno wasn't there, instead another lawyer who I had never spoken to. The meeting was for 13 minutes (yes, I kept track of it) and when I got the bill they charged for 40 min. To make a long story short, I never met David Centeno, he took forever to answer my emails and/calls, I never felt represented by him or Rosa (the lawyer I met in his office who was supposed to be on charge of my case), the times he called me he only focused on how unfair my fiance was instead of proposing solutions, he even told me that I needed to be honest and tell him if I was getting married only for a green card, REALLY?? I wish all of you can read my experience and learn from it, I totally regret of it. I not only wasted my money, but a lot of time and he did NOTHING. Luckily I found and amazing lawyer who did in 10 days what Centeno couldn't do in months. I TOTALLY DON'T recommend this lawyer. I honestly wonder how he gets 5 stars on avvo after 98 reviews.
