I hired the firm to represent me in a relocation case in family court. Basically my ex who was uninvolved in my life, and my sons life chose to oppose my decision to move to Florida where I recieved a much more favorable job offer and my son could go to a much better public school, etc. Todd was very realistic in his expectations on the Tropea factors and advised me what I needed to do on my end to put us in a positive trial posture. After months of litigation, including emergency order to show cause the case settled. This is no doubt attributale to his hard work and commitment to my case.

I was fortutnate enough to be referred to Todd Spodek from a prior client on a New York State criminal case. A family member of mine in New York was being investigated by the Federal Government for welfare fraud and was going to be prosecuted in the Southern District of New York. My family was at a complete loss as this process was foreign and alarming at the same time. We didn't even know where to begin, or how to handle it appropiately. Once we retained his firm, we all were put somewhat at ease since we had an experienced practitioner there to help us navigate the situation. This alone was worth every dollar. Yet, things got better. As the case continued Todd and his firm worked tireless to present and request a deferred prosecution agreement. At the end this did not get accepted, allthough I saw first hand the time and effor that was put into this on my neices behalf. There was numerous revisions circulated and late night conferences via Skype so that we were all on the same page. I understand that criminal lawyers can't guarantee a result but I expect them to put in the effort - this is what they did. Once this avenue was exhausted, we moved on to a different direction in an attempt to spare my neice a felony conviction, and further punishment. Todd's position throughout was that we keep fighting for the best disposition to the end and if at that point we can state that it will not get any better; as a family we can decide whether a plea or trial is in her best interest. The concepts involved in the ecase along with federal prosecution in general are complex and hard to digest. Todd and his paralegal made sure that each one of understood fully the different concepts and why they were making the choices that they did. It felt very similar to someone being treated by a Dr who held your hand throughout the process. I came down to NY to have dinner with Todd and express my gratittude for the commitment to help my family. I appreciate it and I am proud to be a client and a friend.

I was arrested, and my case was presented before the grand jury. With Spodek Law Group's assistance I testified before the grand jury and my case was dismissed. I owe a debt of gratitude to this firm.

I hired Spodek Law Group for an IDV case in Manhattan which has a criminal case component, and an a divorce. Everyone in the Manhattan office is really nice and available. I enjoyed the fact that I could access my file whenever I want online and that I could reach all of the staff members directly by their cell phone. Everyone texts which was also great. The hourly rates are comparable with other similar firms. The firm tries a lot of cases throughout New York State so they have a good reputation and the results that matter. The hourly fees are commensurate with other similar firms however they charge a flat fee for trial dates which was also fairer.

I have known Todd for many years. I recently had a case with him. He fought very hard to get his client what he wanted. Fortunately we were able to reach an amicable settlement. He fights hard but he knows how to settle a case.

I have worked with Spodek Law Group, specifically Todd and Lidia for the past two years. They jointly handled my divorce/criminal case. I only have good things to say about the firm. They are highly knowledgeable, professional and responsive. The office stays on top of every detail and helped me have realistic expectations regarding all of the various issues in my case.
As anyone going through a divorce knows, it is hourly and the fees add up quickly. Not to mention the court costs and transcripts, etc. The hourly fee here is significantly lower then most firms for partner level work. Plus it is a flat fee for court appearances/trial, I felt this is a much fairer approach.
As the situation appeared to get more complex we all sat down to discuss the appropriate next steps. The issue in my case was that we both had significantly high incomes, so we were both paying our own attorneys fees. We discussed that ultimately every decision we made had to take into consideration the attorneys fees, time and emotional commitment on my end. I appreciated that the firm was not just billing endlessly and actually had a result oriented approach.
Divorces suck, paying lawyers suck. Paying lawyers a lot of money and being forced by a Judge to pay part of your pension sucks. Seeing your ex with a new younger version sucks. Find a lawyer who is fair and will help you resolve the divorce as soon as possible and save you money.

If you recieve a target letter from HRA medicaid fraud investigators as i did, Todd and his staff are the ones you want to represent yo, so look no further. He is very experienced in this area and he will get you the best possible outcome. In my case I was fully exhonerated. Todd told me it would take about 3 months but it actually took about 4 months. Todd will answer all of your questions at any time of the day or night. If you contact Todd and you don't hear back from him quickly don't despair, he will contact you. He is a very busy person but busy is good, it means experience and that's just what you want and will need when dealng with HRA being accused of medicaid fraud. DON'T TRY TO DEAL WITH THE INVESTIGATORS ON YOUR OWN! You don't know how you may implicate yourself beyond help. Todd's fee is fair and believe me, it's money well spent! I had many sleepless nights during the 4 month investigation and much anxiety. Todd would always answer my calls and messages and helped me get a good night sleep on more than a few occasions. I got the good news today from Todd and his wonderful assistant Shantal. These people really care about you and your case. Hire Todd and you will be in the best hands possible. Todd will tell you what to expect during the investigation and tells you like it is. He doesn't sugar coat anything. you will get straight answers from him. Again, If you recieve a target letter from HRA about medicaid fraud, look no further and hire Todd and his firm. Also, go on youtube and watch Todd's video's . They are very informative and will answer many of your concerns. You will find no one better or more experienced in this area of law, Todd really knows the in's and out's of how these investigations work. THANKYOU TODD, ALBERT B
