I really wanted to set down and write my experience with Miss Nicole. A acquaintance of mine recommender Miss Nicole to me and I am very thankful to her for that.
I understand when you deal with someone about certain issues is their job to do it, but this wonderful lawyer is being more than that while helping me to extend my tourists visa. Dealing with immigration issues it could be headache. It was for me. At one point I was overwhelmed but there was nothing I can do except waiting. Miss Nicole knew I was stressed out and once she wrote to me an email where she wanted to let me know not to worry. With another words, she wanted to console me.
She truly knows her job and what she is doing. Every time I talked to her, the way how she explains, talks, gives me hope in things I deal with (the immigration ones).
She is always kind. I never met her in person. I only know her via the phone, but her knowledge, kindness, moral support, made me see and understand that I am dealing with a great person, and over all, I trust her in what she was doing for me.
I am glad that there are still people like her out there, who go beyond their job and offer great service.
Miss Nicole is a pleasant person to work with. I highly recommend her to anyone who need help with immigration.

My number one lawyer Nicole Hemrick my case started back in 2003 I was living in Maryland when my case started I had no knowledge about immigration rules and regulation and because of that my first lawyer robbed me of over $13,000. I was depress and wanted to give up then my sister mother recommend me to the law office of Spar and Bernstein where I met Nicole I did my consultation with Mr Bernstein himself then my case was turn over to Nicole, Nicole is a God send she's an angel and had fought the case until we was victorious my case was a waiver case because I came to America illegal and that make the case very difficult I never really understand the depths of my case until I met Nicole she was very informative and very understanding during the years fighting my case I suffered from anxiety and become very depressed and Nicole cure that sickness. Nicole you are very intelligent, caring, loving, attentive, understanding, trustworthy and reliable lawyer thank you so much(lawyer like Nicole are very hard to fine)
Nicole you had fought and because you had fought I can believe in myself again, I am no longer illegal, my daughter can enjoy her country(because of my immigration case I had to send my eight months old daughter then to live in Jamaica with my mother) because you had fought my mother no longer have night mares of me coming back to Jamaica Nicole thank you and I prayed every day that you may feel the joy that you have make me feel every day since you have won my case words can't express how much I adore and appreciate you, you are well loved may God continue to shine his blessing on you and your family that you can continue to do the great job you were put on the earth to do I always tell you, you do your BEST and God will do the REST thanks you for the bottom of my heart..Love Tamara

I was introduced to Spar & Bernstein from a friend of mine who had a great experience with the firm.
I wasn't extremely confident that the law firm could've help because my case was extremely complicated; I entered the country in someone else's name and since had been a law-abiding resident - taking care of my family and paying taxes. Thus, I was petitioning to become a permanent resident, in spite of my illegal entry 15 years ago.
In 2012, I went to the office with my case and Mr Bernstein told me that he can help me. He mentioned that it was a difficult case, but he took it on in-spite of that. After some time, he introduced me to Mrs Nicole Hemrick, who would be my lawyer. She was eager to work with me and always positive. As you can imagine, the case involved a lot of paperwork and Mrs. Hemrick was always on top of it - making it clear what I needed and when, to ensure we do not miss key dates.
After a lot of hard work (and money and prayer!), I was able to receive my working permit and social security card. Then, there was a major snag in my case when Mrs. Hemrick filed for my permanent residency status... It was declined due to insufficient evidence of how I entered the country. Mrs. Hemrick reassured me that she would do all that she can to help. I worked tirelessly to get the evidence that was needed and she used that information to file an appeal. Luckily, the case was reopened and after another official interview, I was granted my green-card and permanent residency!
I would recommend anyone to Spar & Bernstein, as they are a very good law firm. As for Mrs Nicole Hemrick, she is a fantastic lawyer who will fight for you until there is success. I am forever thankful of her work and dedication to my case. Thank you, Nicole!
