I hired Miriam as my divorce attorney. On the positive side, she is personable, approachable, and clearly knowledgeable in her field. However, the agreement we finalized later proved to be lacking important detail. Key areas -such as specific responsibilities around child support and other everyd...ay expenses beyond basic categories like housing, food, and college-were either not clearly defined or omitted altogether. This creates confusion and issues for me currently, after the fact. Throughout the process, she often seemed very busy and rushed. While she did respond to emails, her answers were often brief and unclear, requiring interpretation rather than providing straightforward guidance. There were also times when a substitute appeared instead of her. Overall, I felt a lack of organization and focus on my case. I didn’t expect to be her only priority, but I did expect that when she was working with me-whether in conversation or over email- she would be more present, focused, and clear. If I had to go through the process again, I would choose a different attorney.

I retained Miriam Zakarin for child visitation, and a possible future filing for custody. Based on my personal experience with this attorney, which included one free phone consultation and one additional phone conversation, I did not agree with this attorney in regards to legal advisement and billi...ng charges, and I was uncomfortable and unhappy with my experience with Miriam Zakarin. I would not recommend this attorney
