Prior to entering private practice, Gregg began his career at the Brooklyn District Attorney’s Office. At the Brooklyn DA’s office, Gregg initially worked on assault, gun and drug possession cases, as well as DWI crimes. Gregg was soon promoted to the prestigious Rackets Division. In the Rackets Division, Gregg investigated Grand Larceny, Fraud, Police Brutality, Police Misconduct, Corruption, Perjury, Counterfeiting, and Hate Crimes.
Using the skills he learned at the Brooklyn DA’s office, Gregg primarily practices criminal defense and commercial law. Gregg’s recent work involves obtaining an acquittal for attempted assault and representation of a New York City architect company in a construction litigation dispute.
Gregg is a graduate of Stuyvesant High School, Manhattan. Gregg earned a bachelor of science degree, magna cum laude, in business administration from the State University of New York at Albany, and a juris doctorate, with honors, from Brooklyn Law School. Gregg is admitted to practice law in New York State, as well as the Southern and Eastern District of New York Federal Courts. He is a member of the New York City Bar Association, the New York County Lawyers Association, the Brooklyn Bar Association, and the King’s County Criminal Bar Association.
Gregg lives in Staten Island with his wife, Allison (whom he met in law school) and their daughter, Claire. In his spare time (of what remains) Gregg enjoys fantasy football, traveling to the Finger Lakes with his family and cheering on the Giants, Knicks and Yankees.
