Knowledgeable, effective, with a reassuring manner

Had an issue with felony charges for shoplifting and no idea what all that meant for me and my record. Called Mr Matchin for a consult and knew I should hire him over others because not only did he know exactly what my options were but also explained them to me completely and thoroughly answered all ...my questions with an appropriately reassuring manner that didn't sugar coat anything either, which truly helped me during that time of panic. Mr Matchin was very easily able to have the felony downgraded to a misdemeanor for disorderly conduct instead - much less scary to have on your record! Then he spoke to the judge at my first court appearance and got me into the NJ conditional dismissal program which essentially wiped my record of all charges after a probationary period. Minimal work on my end and a lot of explaining, patience, and reassurance on Mr Matchin's end to get me through it. Very grateful for his knowledge and the lawyer version of good bedside manner.

4th of July, we went to a small family bbq in New Jersey. We are from New York. We were stopped for speeding. We hired Mr. Matchin for different reasons. 1. Too difficult and costly for us to commute back and forth, considering we are essential workers. And, 2. We wanted to make sure we did not get p...oints on the license. We contacted Mr. Matchin and within the same day we were I contacted and he was hired. Took care of the case completely. And no points! Efficient and reliable!

Thorough, Responsible and Caring

Leon came highly recommended and I’m completely impressed and pleased with his services. He’s knowledgeable of the law and perhaps more importantly, of the prosecutors and ins and outs of local courts. Leon saved me jail time and I received just a slap on the wrist. I couldn’t have been happier wit...h the outcome. Moreover, Leon listened well to my predicament, was non judgmental and took on my case with resolve and confidence. Communication was fabulous as well. In short, Court appearances, possible jail and hefty fines is something no one wants, but Leon made this as bearable as possible. He’s a good man and I highly recommend his services.
