I was referred to Mr. Vercammen by a CPA. I had no expectations as what to expect. Mr. Vercammen was direct and straightforward with my options and when he took my case he kept me informed . He successfully advocated on my behalf. I avoided jail time and my DWI case was dismissed. In court he demonstrated knowledge of the system and how hiring the right attorney can make all the difference in the world. I am extremely grateful for the work Mr. Vercammen had done for me. I would use him again and have already recommended him to others.

At first, Mr. Vercammen seemed like a real nice guy, like he cared about his client (me), but then charged $1,500 up front before he would do any work on my case. The first thing he told me to do was drive to Trenton to get my driver's abstract. It was 3:00 and the MVC closed at 4:00. The MVC was over an hour away. I mentioned this to him and he told me to go anyway. I called the MVC from my car to ask what I needed to get my abstract and was told I could not just come in to get it. It had to be done through the mail. That should have sent up a red flag to me about Mr. Vercammen. Next, he told me to get my license restored BEFORE I paid my fines, which, according to the MVC, is impossible. When I called Mr. Vercammen's office to speak with his law clerk to tell him about this, since it was very difficult to reach my attorney, I was put on hold for 15 minutes and then told to call back. When I called back, and when I was explaining to the clerk that I could not get my license restored, I was told I was calling too much (it was my 3rd call out of the 5 Mr. Vercammen allowed me as part of the contract), he told me not to call anymore and hung up on me. I heard from Mr. Vercammen a couple of days later and when I told him what happened, I expected him to apologize and say he would speak with his clerk. Instead, he too said I was calling too much and not to call anymore. I reminded him that I paid him $1,500 and that this was not a pro bono (free) case. He went to court with me and did such a terrible job that the judge told him to "sit down and be quiet". When I tried to speak with the judge on my own behalf, Mr. Vercammen told me to be quiet and just sit down. As we were leaving, I told him about not being able to get my license restored without paying the fine, and his suggestion was to "get your butt down to Trenton, pay the $200 to restore the license or go to jail. Those are your options." Wow! If you want an incompetent jerk to represent you, then by all means go see Kenneth Vercammen. But if you want someone who cares about you and has a staff that will help you, stay as far away from Kenneth Vercammen as possible. I finally hired another lawyer - had to pay another $750 for him but he was outstanding. Mr. Vercammen, you should be ashamed of yourself for taking advantage of people when they are at their most vulnerable. I cannot get MY money back from him but I can do my best to make sure no one else gives him any of their money.

Ken Vercammen always kept me informed of the proceedings and the steps he was taking. I appreciated his patience and understanding in answering all my questions.

I thought this attorney was going to be useful. However, once I was finally informed of the 10k plus fee, for what seemed like nothing extraordinary, I was shocked. Nothing could have prepared me for this, for what I consider minor work.

If you need a lawyer for any criminal or civil matters please do not hesitate to look up Mr. Kenneth Vercammen. I recently had a moving violations matter and he took care of it when we were in court. He was able to reduce a high amount point ticket down to zero. Mr. Vercammen is professional and trustworthy and I would always ask him for advice from now on. Thank you Mr. Vercammen for helping me!!!!!!

Ken is a great lawyer.
He was fast when i first contacted him. Very responsive
Creds to his staff
they are good people who are knowledgable. his paralegal plus his interns are good, fast and very knowledgable. When i email him, i later find out doesn't even see them. they answered it effectively. props to that.
Ken is very knowladgable of the court system. He has been on both sides of the courtroom, municipal court and superior court. Thus he knows the in's and out's of the court like he can do it in his sleep.
He was with me all the time, willing to respond with extreme information. I always ended up learning about the legal system more than a textbook. XD Plus he has worked with everyone so he is able to get stuff done. He charges a little bit high but worth it.

Mr. Vercammen represented me in a case at the end of the year 2014 and through early 2015. The lines of communication were always open with him and his advice was always spot on. He did an excellent job with my case and I would recommend him to anyone for a variety of law situations.

Ken has represented me on a number of occasions in the past 10 years on matters ranging from simple speeding tickets to complex corporate battles and recently a dispute with a neighbor. He is thorough, professional, knowledgable and aggressive. He knows the law and has always defended my interests vigorously. If I had a case to be heard before the Supreme Court, I would ask Kenneth Vercammen to represent me! I recommend him without any reservations whatsoever!
