Scott educated me about everything I needed to know about my charges of a first Shoplifting offense, explaining all processes, terminology, and even coaching me what to say to the judge when questioned. Yes, a 2nd, repeat offense 3 years later!!!!!! I'm doomed, facing jail time, and the aforementioned humiliation for my family, and my crime becoming police blotter all over the region. Certainly a job loss to follow, heavy fines, and a devastating criminal record as a felon. My life is ruined!!!
HOW IN THE WORLD CAN ANYONE FACED WITH CLEAR CUT VIDEO EVIDENCE OF LARCENY (2ND TIME IN 3 YEARS), AND WITNESSES SUBPOENAED TO TESTIFY, GET LENIENCY?
I am absolutely amazed at what Attorney Scott Aalsberg was able to do. I owe the ability to continue my life without incarceration, time away from work, potential financial devastation, and inability to be a husband and father - typical affects of living in jail.
Scott amazed even the fellow attorneys in the courtroom, as he plead me down once again to Public Disturbance for creating a scene, a virtual 2nd slap on the wrist, with no community service or re-conciliatory fines.
A nightmare scenario was averted.
I am not proud of my actions, and through Attorney Aalsberg's caring, but stern advice, I have started to seek therapy for my problem. Every Day is a work in progress. I cannot change the past, and can only change myself moving forward.
I would recommend Attorney Aalsberg to anyone seeking assistance in a criminal case. Scott IS THE BEST. He is very honest, and advises all possible outcomes, but works his tail off to achieve the best possible results. He does an amazing job!!!!!
