Dragged on case longer.. excessive fees.. .unresponsive

Hired Mr.Rajeh firm for litigation with HOA matter, lack of response despite repeated calls and email. Its was mission to get an update or get in touch with attorrney. After 3 months of signing contract fees went up significantly in middle of litigation. (Without notice) Over billed : 2 lines emaile...d would cost 30mintus of fees. Associate attorney yelled at me when called to ask status on the case. Was nightmare to deal with . Instead of explaining charges which were disputed by me and paying about $20k they refused to pickup the phone to answer questions, they sue clients for excessive ,unreasonable fees on top. And dropped my case halfway right before scheduled hearing.

This anonymous user hired the firm to help him with a litigation matter brought against him by his HOA. The lawsuit started with the HOA filing an emergent application requesting that the court essentially shut down the user's business. The user hired us, and we were successful in having the court deny the HOA's request. After the emergent application and follow up, futile attempts by the HOA to shut down the business, the matter proceeded in the normal course of litigation, which can take over a year to resolve if a settlement isn't reached. In the early stages of the case, the user refused to pay his bill, and he refused to email us to identify which billing entries he disputes and why. Further, this user wanted us to bring frivolous requests against the HOA and its board members, which we are ethically prohibited from doing. Due to these circumstances, our representation of this user terminated, and he hired a new attorney to continue his matter. To date, this user has a balance owing to the firm, and collection efforts recently commenced, which is why this user now decided to defame the firm. Mr Raj did not deliver title, and refused services he was paid for

Mr Raj was hired for a realestate transaction, and I regret hiring him. Mr Raj failed to transfer the title of the property to me, nine months after closing I still did not have title. His office had authorized the disbursement of escrow funds without verifying that the paperwork is correct. His o...ffice was subsequently clueless that the title has not been transferred, and did not bother to follow up on the case. Once I notified his office that the title conveyance has not happened, his office did little to investigate or remedy the situation. I messaged his office for months after the closing, but could not get them to do anything useful. On the contrary, after about nine months later, he denied that he is responsible for the completion of the title transfer. He thus refused to complete the duties he was contractually obligated to, instead he abandoned his client. He then asked that I should pay him an exorbitant amount of consultancy fee for him to complete the tasks he had already been paid for, this was a shameless way to looking to turn his own failure into fresh business for himself. His advise was dishonest, and seemed to be geared towards making money for himself. A few attorneys I consulted about this situation, they all had the same opinions, which did not match what Mr Raj was advising. Luckily I was able to get the matter resolved by conducting my own investigations, and escalating to the appropriate state authorities who turned out to be helpful. I recommend not hiring Mr Raj.

Even though this user is anonymous, this user's complaints are untrue as we have never represented a buyer who closed on a real estate purchase but did not have title to the property. This user may be mistaking us for another lawyer or law firm. If this user is talking about the correct lawyer and law firm, then this user is mistaken. Not only that, but at the closing, this user likely purchased title insurance, which means that if the user actually does not have title, the title insurance company will cover the user's losses. The user is welcome to bring this issue to the attention of the title insurance company to either correct the user's perception or compensate the user for their losses. To all readers: please take note of the dozens of positive, accurate, and fair reviews left by users we have actually represented.

Excellent Service

The Law Office of Rajeh A. Saadeh is great to work with. All of the staff are well versed, organized, and competent in their practice. They operate at the highest level of professionalism. Stilianos Cambilis made the whole process very easy. He not only took the time to provide me with a sense of un...derstanding, but he also responded quickly and kept me updated throughout my case. I would highly recommend this firm to anybody in need of legal services.

Hiring This Person was a worse decision for me than marrying the first wife .

My wife and I retained Mr. Saadeh because what we heard Mr. Saadeh say to us, in the initial consultation, that he was able to enable me to prevail in motions that my former wife filed against me seeking additional money after our divorce. The terms of the retainer we entered into made no guarantees,... that is true, however what was verbally heard by the two of us from Mr. Saadeh, gave me assurance that established legal case law would enable him to "neutralize " my ex-wife's demands. When the ordeal was finished, this is not what happened. I lost in court. At the final court date, I was met by a junior lawyer employed by Mr. Saadeh whom I had never met or knew anything about, which was a complete surprise to me. Over the course of our lawyer-client relationship, which lasted about two years Mr. Saadeh experienced a churn of junior associates. Contrary to Mr. Saadeh's claim, that the actions ( arbitration) I took against him were unsuccessful, I was awarded a reduction in his legal fees by an arbitration committee. Not as much as I wanted, for I am not a lawyer and I did not understand how to craft the arbitration paperwork, however the part that I did craft correctly was ruled in my favor and his fee was in fact reduced. For Mr. Saadeh to say that I was unsuccessful is false. I consider the arbitration very successful for me considering that he is trained in law and I am not. My ex-spouse wrote to the arbitration committee, and she said in her letter that Mr. Saadeh is unscrupulous . That opinion is something that my ex-wife, my wife, and myself all agree on. I did no due diligence when I hired Mr. Saadeh. I deeply regretted failing to do so. I felt soon after giving him the retainer that he was not serving me as promised, but as I got in deeper with him and his legal fees, I was afraid to dismiss him and start over with a different lawyer. I feel that my legal matter was beyond his ability. I had a situation that was much more complicated than a real estate closing. Soon after Mr Saadeh received my retainer, I perceived his attitude towards me to become disrespectful and unconcerned. I learned over the course of time that despite the motivating initial assessment that I heard from Mr. Saadeh, my chances of winning in court were not good. I agree that I was wrong to trust Mr. Saadeh and not obtaining additional opinions, but in the beginning I truly did trust Mr. Saadeh. Despite the arbitration reduction, the legal hours charged to me by Mr. Saadeh were significant. The legal hours that he ultimately charged me were almost equal to one third of the amount I had to pay my ex-wife. I consider my hiring of Mr. Saadeh a nightmare, I would never hire him again.

This user hired the firm in a matter. After that matter concluded, this user hired the firm in ANOTHER matter. The second matter also concluded, and in 2019. The attorneys who primarily worked on this user's matters are no longer associated with the firm, and Mr. Saadeh did not primarily work on this user's matters. This user instituted multiple proceedings against the firm and Mr. Saadeh, and all of those proceedings were unsuccessful. If this user would like, this user remains welcome to contact the firm to resolve any issues this user still may have.
