About me

Call for a no-commitment, free consultation.  Having information is the first step in exploring your options and improving your future.

I have guided hundreds of families through the process of separation and divorce, handling the business aspect of this difficult time in their lives so that they can better focus on the emotional aspects. This allows clients to find clarity in their decisions and make wiser choices for themselves and their families.

I offer creative solutions to address the maze of legal problems that arise during a family or marital dispute.  I have been a solo practitioner as well as worked in large law firms, but have not changed my billing structure during this time.  I have always maintained competitive billing rates among New Jersey matrimonial/divorce and family law attorneys with my level of experience. I have a solid sense of personal service as well as respect for the hard-earned dollars that are spent on this process, and focus on efficient services in order to not become an additional source of financial distress to my clients.  I also am a Truetee of the NJ State Bar Association, which has helped me to create a large network of attorneys and colleagues with whom I have good working relationships.  This invariably assists clients to keep their costs down.

On the personal side, having been born in the United States and raised in a conservative Indian family, I have a unique perspective on family disputes.  I  understand both American society and the New Jersey legal system, as well as cultural and otherwise special and personal issues that often lead to family disputes.

Various reasons can bring a person to the point of a divorce, and each individual has highly personal reasons for the choices that he or she makes before and during the process.  I search for that information first and foremost in the initial consultation so that I can help map a plan for my clients which fits an individual's needs. Structure and stability, now and into the future, are what I try to achieve for every client.
