About me

Daniel Kurkowski is a trial lawyer practicing employment and labor law, civil rights law, and criminal law. Daniel was formerly a prosecutor and had a stellar trial record. Daniel now specializes in trial and litigation of unlawful discrimination (NJLAD), medical leave issues (FMLA and NJFLA), whistleblower retaliation (CEPA), sexual harassment, unemployment appeals, disciplinary hearings, wrongful terminations, and other adverse employment actions in violation of the law.  Daniel represents the accused in all criminal matters, from minor municipal infractions to the most serious of crimes and indictable offenses.

Daniel Kurkowski is a proud member the New Jersey State Bar. He is also a member of the Camden and Cape May Bar Associations. Daniel received his law degree from Widener University School of Law, graduating with honors and receiving pro bonodistinction. He has studied law at Sydney University Law School in Australia, where he worked under the Dean of the Law School. Daniel was also trained at the National District Attorney Association’s Prosecutors School at the University of South Carolina. He received his undergraduate degree with honors from DrexelUniversity.


Susan Kurkowski is a lawyer practicing land use and environmental law.  She received her law degree from New York University School of Law.  She was Executive Editor of the NYU Environmental Law Journal and authored a note on environmental law which was published in that journal.  Susan is a former associate of Cahill Gordon Reindel LLP, where she practiced commercial litigation, including securities litigation, civil and contract disputes, and regulatory matters.  Susan received her undergraduate degree from the Johns Hopkins University.  Susan is a proud member the New Jersey State Bar.
