Derek helped us navigate the immigration process for my (soon-to-be) husband. He was very professional and knowledgeable throughout the entire process. His many years of experience made this a very smooth process. When we did have questions, he was accessible via email or phone, and was very responsive. I would definitely recommend him to others.

Derek represented me in a case and demonstrated a genuine understanding of the struggles I was going through. He is highly intelligent and caring. I was also very impressed with his legal knowledge and how he conducted himself in the courtroom. I can't thank him enough for what he did for me and my family. He was genuinely concerned about us during our hard time. I recommend Derek in the strongest of regards.

About 15 months ago, immigration officers arrested one of our parishioners in his home in the early hours of the morning. His wife and four children were witnesses to this arrest and came to the parish for help. I referred them to Derek DeCosmo who had helped us on many prior occasions. Our parishioner had been taken immediately to the Detention Center in Newark, NJ. Derek went there to meet him. He negotiated his release from custody, got him an employment authorization document, and license. In time, Derek was able to take our parishioner to Pennsylvania to have a prior criminal case dismissed. Throughout this entire process, Derek was available to the family and to our church community as we worked and prayed together for a just resolution for this family. All of my experience with Derek has been very positive. He treats each person with respect and puts all his resources into serving them well.

It is an honor to endorse Derek DeCosmo. Over the past several years I've had the pleasure of working with Derek as co-counsel. I've also referred my own clients to Derek based on his vast expertise in the area of Immigration Law. Rarely do you meet an attorney who is so well-versed in his practice area. It is even more rare to find that same well-versed attorney that has such a high level of dedication to success for his clients. Derek makes it easy to refer him cases because our client's return thanking us for the referral. Thus, when it comes ito Immigration Law, Derek is the first lawyer I call.
