I went to Steve last year to get my Green Card through marriage. I felt as though my spouse and I were being unfairly judged when we were interviewed, we were called back for second interview and separated. Steve took very detailed notes because he felt our testimony may possibly be misconstrued. I hired 3 attorneys prior to Steve, but none were as honest, hard working, dedicated, or most importantly brought me results like Steve. My father was taken in by immigration in a very complex case, even though he's been here since 1987. ICE would not give ANY information about the case to my father'...s previous attorney. So she referred me to Steve, and I went to see him immediately. When I explained the case to Steve he said we have to immediately file a Habeas Corpus Brief in Federal Court. Steve learned that my father was "excluded" in absentia, and we had no clue about this. Then, Steve retrieved my father's file from the Court, investigated the file, and found tons of mistakes made by the Court. He then filed three legal briefs with the Immigration Court. Afterwards, he reopened my father's case with the immigration court. We were then under the impression that my father should be let out, however ICE still would not allow my father out. My father's case isn't over yet Steve is going to fight our case now with USCIS and the Immigration Court.
