Request modification family court

Outstanding Legal Representation I had the privilege of being represented by Brian D. Winters and Amy B. Harris in a recent family court matter in New Jersey. My regular attorney was unavailable, and they stepped in on very short notice. Normally, I research an attorney’s background and reviews th...oroughly, but in this case, I had no time. From the start, they handled every point in my motion and certification with confidence, professionalism, and clear strategy, resulting in the court granting the majority of my requests. Immediately after court, they personally called to explain the outcome, discuss next steps, and outline all options, showing exceptional care for their clients. Having dealt with multiple family, criminal, immigration, and civil attorneys over the past five years, I can say without hesitation that Brian and Amy are among the best. Do not be misled by office staff—they may not always be warm, but the attorneys themselves are knowledgeable, approachable, and genuinely dedicated to their clients. I highly recommend contacting them for anyone needing skilled and trustworthy legal representation.

Not so good

Brian offered a flat fee for his services to handle arbitration for my case. His effort in my case seemed to diminish as time went on. During arbitration his input was non existent. I do not believe he represented my interests well and lost my case.

Family Law & Post Divorce Alimony Reduction

The initial consultation and retainer amount seemed good however the attitude, timeliness of communications, attention to detail as well as his knowledge in the area of reducing or discontinuing alimony obligations in my circumstance became readily apparent as time went on. I gave him several chances... but finally had to dismiss him after the thousands spent on attorney fees and unwarranted alimony during our relationship showed no signs of lessening my losses. I did retain the services of another attorney who represented me in a professional manner and had my alimony obligations completely dismissed contrary to what Mr. Winters indicated as to what he was going to or be able to pursue.

Brian's the best.

Brian was professional and knowledgeable. He kept me informed and I trusted his advise in a most unusual divorce case. Most importantly, he listened to how I wanted this divorce to end with the family as intact as possible. He represented my interest while keeping proceedings civil and moving forw...ard. I wholeheartedly recommend him.
