He is very active in the community as a youth baseball and soccer coach and sponsor and regularly donates time to local schools and churches.

Peter has also served as a contributing editor for Architectural Lighting Magazine, where he penned a monthly business practices column. Peter has also written for Kitchen & Bath Business, as well as other publications, including the New Jersey Lawyer and Claims Magazine.

In addition to his magazine articles and blog posts, Peter is the author of A Fresh Start: A Guide to Chapter 7 Bankruptcy (2013). and it a contributing author of Kitchen and Bath Sustainable Design: Conservation, Materials, Practices (2015).
