I had never gotten more than a parking ticket when I got a DWI and several other tickets. I was terrified but Carl really made me feel in control—he explained everything to me very patiently and encouraged me to ask questions. Because of Carl's explanations I felt like I could make wise decisions abo...ut my case without feeling pressured. I was recovering from a leg injury and surgery and I felt Carl was compassionate while also finding its relevance to my case. I got into an accident in April of 2018. A person darted out in the middle of the street and while I was driving and ran into the right side of my car. However, I never stopped. Stupid, I know, but in that moment I couldn't. I was scared and a fight or flight moment came over me. Long story short I ...got 8 tickets in the mail shortly after. There was a witness on the scene who got my plate number. The tickets were 1. Leaving the scene of an accident 2. failure to report an accident 3. failure to show license 4. fail to show insurance 5. failure to show registration 6 no liability insurance 7. careless driving: danger to person/vehicle 8. reckless driving. As you can see some of the tickets were repetitive and I feel like some tickets were just written for fun. I'm no detective but if you found my plate number and wrote down my license number to mail all these tickets you would see I have a license, insurance and registration. Again I'm no detective. Who can argue with that? Now it was time to listen. We sat and of those 8 tickets I only paid for 2 which was failure to show insurance$ 106 card and failure to yield to a pedestrian $156. Another 3 I just paid $33 court fees for. The rest were dismissed. I couldn't even believe it. He told me this turned out better than even expected and I couldn't agree more. Mr. Spector was my first experience with a lawyer and a DWI. I was scared from the moment I got arrested to the moment I was standing in front of the judge. Just like everyone, I was hesitant because I have friends who went with legal aid and some who hired lawyers. Everyone’s outcome was different. ...Few still have their license suspended, few had the breathalyzer installed in their car, still take AA classes. Hiring Carl Spector was the Best decision I’ve ever made. Went online and came across his name with a lot of amazing reviews. I looked at everyone’s story and decided to go for it because I thought my case was not as big as the ones that I had read and he had won these hard cases with the best plea deals.
