In March 2010 me and my wife called Attorney Blauvelt to defend us against a serious charge (9:6-1B) which started in Municipal Court and got quickly escalated to Superior Court. In April 2010 we were already signing into a minimal period of PTI (6 months), which his Law Offices managed to negotiate with the prosecutor. In Nov 2015 our case was successfully dismissed and closed without any cost to us.
Throughout the defense process Attorney Blauvelt kept us updated, which included several face to face sessions in his office. Given that we were non-U.S. citizens he was very diligent in explaining to us every detail of the law pertaining to our case and the consequences of every motion and decision made. Additionally, his service fees were very affordable, especially given the fact that both me and my wife were International Students at that time without any regular income.
Later on when we moved out of NJ to another state, Attorney Blauvelt helped us expunge our arrest records without us even having to appear in NJ.
Now after 7 years, we are in the process of adjusting our status to permanent resident in U.S. and quickly finding out that in addition to state laws we must also satisfy the requirements of the Federal Immigration Law. Looking back at our case we are extremely grateful to Attorney Blauvelt and his Law Offices for handling our case in such a manner that we were not convicted not only under NJ state law but also under Federal Immigration Law, because he and his assisting attorney were very careful in making sure that we as non-U.S. citizens did not plead guilty as a condition for being offered a minimal duration PTI program. Had we done so, under the Federal Immigration Law we would have become automatically ineligible for immigration to U.S.
He is the real professional and one of the best lawyers in NJ. I would very strongly recommend Attorney Blauvelt and his Law Offices to anyone who is seeking a reliable defense service.
PS: Even after 7 years, Attorney Blauvelt is responding to our queries on the past matter and providing invaluable support in our immigration process.

I was looking for an attorney and consulted with many options. Thomas stood out the most. I'm so happy we chose him as representation. He succeeded far beyond our expectations for the case. Got 1 driving without license ticket dismissed and downgraded running a stop sign ticket. Very happy with the outcome! thank you thank you thank you!

Mr. Blauvelt managed to drop the heaviest offense, my DWI. Also, he perssuaded the judge to not suspend my license! After the trial was over, he gave me advice on what to do after such as take an online defensive class. He did eveything in his power to reduce the charges and he was very couteous and friendly!

I dont even know where to start. The staff is amazing the lawyers are amazing. I paid for them to assist with two issues that I had that ended up turning into 4 or 5 issues. They helped me clear them all. I had over 4 driving while suspended charges that I wasnt aware of from over 10 years ago and every last ticket was dropped. I had fines but Id rather that than it going on my record. I will never use anyone else. It was a great experience.

Due to a youthful indiscretion, I had a misdemeanor on my record, which caused professional inconvenience. I inquired to Mr. Blauvelt about my options. Mr. Blauvelt took care to expunge the misdemeanor. All I had to do was ask, and then pay a very reasonable fee. Easy, and free of the past indiscretion. Mr. Blauvelt's office took care of the work from A to Z.

Finally wrapped up this case, and I am very pleased with the outcome as a result of the thorough and detailed work Mr. Blauvelt provided me. He will comb through all the pages of reports, procedures, and will utilize all possible resources and subject matter experts to help your case.. I was already mentally prepared to take a 7 month suspension of my driving privilges but Mr. Blauvelt simply did not want to go down without a fight.
He reviewed all the case's documents, spoke to the arresting officers, and grilled them on how my DUI arrest process was handled. At the very last hour, he made a discovery which ultimately helped my case. He was able to get the judge to agree to a 90 day suspension, no interlock device, and no jail.
Considering all the facts and circumstances at hand, this was a HUGE WIN for us. I cannot Thank Mr. Blauvelt enough for his patience, cool and calm demeanor when speaking to prosecutor, judge and police. You would be making a HUGE mistake if you do not choose him to defend you. Do not look any further!
THANK YOU TOM!

If I ever needed an attorney again; I would immediately call Tom. Tom's professionalism in all aspects of my case; from consulting to handeling; to walking me through every step of it was outstanding. His knowledge of the law is impeccable. When I first contacted Tom; I was nervous about what I was facing and the potential outcome. Tom completely reassured me that everything would work out and he would make sure the outcome was exactly what we wanted. Calm, cool, and collected is how I would describe his demeanor. I couldn't of been happier about the end result and would highly recommend Tom.

Tom might be a good lawyer, but my case was farmed out to a recent grad who got the standard "deal" which proved costly. Beware of "no points deals".

I was pulled over in New Jersey with like 5 hours until new years. I was speeding I was going 101 in a 65 miles an hour zone. So yes it didn't take long for the state trooper to see my red car and pull me over. I though to my self what a way to bring in the new years. The state trooper gave me a speeding ticket and a reckless driving ticket and said that I had to appear in court. I am an out of state driver and going back to New Jersey was out of the question since I work alot. I wasted no time and looked up an attorney for NJ. Attorney Thomas Blauvelt was the first attorney that popped up. I looked at his rating and though could this be real? How could someone have such high rating and help people the way there were describing it in there reviews? So there was only one way to find out I though to myself lets give Attorney Thomas a call. That's what I did I called him and he took my case. Best move you can make by far. He took my case at an affordable price and he was able to get my moving violations dropped with out me having to step one foot into the courtroom. At the end I just had to pay a small fine which I am happy about because I was looking at jail time plus over $1,200 in fines. He took care of all that him and his staff are very professional and handled my case with care. If your pulled over in NJ and in a hard spot and don't know what to do. DON"T WASTE TIME call Attorney Thomas today he will help you with your case and if your an out of state driver like me this was a lifesaver as I didn't have to take off or anything. Thanks so much Attorney Thomas for your help you are the best hands down.

I hired Thomas back in September 2016 for my DUI through my fiance recommendation base on his other reviews from his clients. The case run for 5 1/2 months and those months was the hardest thing I had to face since it was my second DUI and I didn't know what the outcome will be. I was afraid that I will somehow lose my license and no way of getting to work. I put my trust on Thomas and he went in there for each court date appearance presenting my case with all the discovery he had obtain from the state. Don't get me wrong, Thomas did warned me that he can't win all cases for all the clients he had, but I told he is the best and I trust him to defend my case. My final day of trial was yestereday 1/16 I was so shaken when speaking to him explaining what direction this trial can go, but at the end of the trial, he was able to dismiss the case. I was so excited to leave that court room and I will never want to see any court room again.
I didn't go wrong hiring Thomas Blauvelt.
Thomas, Thanks for the work that you did. I am ecstatic of the outcome of the trial.
