Miracle Worker!

When I got divorced (2+ years ago), I was pressured to agree to the parenting schedule that my ex-wife proposed in order to settle and avoid court. This arrangement was fragmented and left my ex-wife with more time. Before approaching Weinberger, I had spoken with 3 or 4 other lawyers. All of them to...ld me that it's impossible to change the schedule so soon after getting divorced. When I spoke with Jennifer Varga at Weinberger, she worked with me to come up with a strategy to approach the situation. We eventually filed a motion and made the impossible possible. In court, she kept her cool while the adversary did not. Jennifer stuck to the facts and the judged granted us to undergo an evaluation by a Child and Adolescent Psychologist. We eventually got an equal parenting time schedule and were able to settle with a consent order that also put many other tools & arrangements into place to help facilitate several post-divorce issues that came up. Jennifer has a confident demeanor that helps her with negotiations inside & outside court, explains processes thoroughly, pays very close attention to details, follows up quickly, always makes herself available to chat (even when she's out of office!) and is a kind-hearted and caring mother. Jennifer is honest and would always let me know if my expectation were unrealistic. When I got caught up in my own emotions, she kindly roped me back into reality. Thank you Weinberger for being there when I needed you and thank you Jennifer. You are a miracle worker!

Bari Zell Weinberger Is The Most Competent Family Lawyer

I was in need of counsel for a family law matter and interviewed many attorneys. Bari Zell Weinberger was the only lawyer who truly listened to me and the particular facts in my case, framed my facts against current case law, and properly set my expectations. This is only half the battle however ...in legal representation. Bari Zell Weinberger zealously represented me, anticipating opposing counsel's next moves and how to counteract them. While every family matter is of a very personal nature, I trusted Bari Zell Weinberger without hesitation in securing the optimal outcome - an outcome that I truly believe only Bari Zell Weinberger. I am a lawyer and while my area of practice is far afield from family law. I have hired many lawyers in my career on behalf of my clients. It is that experience that led me hire Bari Zell Weinberger and led me to best possible outcome.

Excellent lawyer - the gold standard

I went to Bari after my Divorce lawyer made significant errors in submission of evidence, was yelling at me, prolonging the case, failing to show up for court, showing up late for court inflating legal fees and made a mess of my trial and was dismissed. The judge forbade me to seek alternative couns...el, stating that the case was 'too old' and that I would have to represent myself. My advise if you have a feeling you lawyer isn't doing you justice then change them. I'm sure if I started with Bari I would have finished my case a year ago. Bari was very obliging and helpful in her guidance and enabled me to present my case. She quickly understood the merits and evidence of the case and you simply can tell she is very intelligent and I a solid litigator. I was able to compile a large amount of supporting evidence my previous lawyer ignored and did not obtain during discovery. She also answered alot of my 'obvious' questions without making a face or looking at me like I knew nothing. Unfortunately it should be know that judges have bias against ProSe defendants and despite offering solid irrefutable evidence the Judge made a biased decision. My new evidence was not allowed (bias) and the judge seemed like she wanted to teach me a lesson not to self represent. So as I move forward with new options I'm going to my coach in the first trial and she I'm sure will provide competent representation that I don't have to worry about. Given that she heads a large firm at such a young age, I would expect that she holds this standard to her employees and the same solid work ethic combined with an actual compassion for her clients rather than a compassion for their wallet like my previous attorney. Seriously she should have 6 stars.
