As long as you were not responsible for the accident, you may be able to recover compensation. Our office has handled multiple cases of a similar nature. You should certainly contact an Attorney to discuss.

  • PERSONAL INJURY - IS IT CUSTOMARY TO HAVE A RETAINER AGREEMENT WHICH PRECLUDES A CLIENT FROM GOING TO TRIAL? IS IT A GOOD IDEA ?

A PERSONAL INJURY CASE INVOLING AN 80+ YEAR MAN....TRIAL OBVIOUSLY IS NOT DESIRED.....BUT SHOULD THAT AVENUE BE BLOCKED OFF IN A RETAINER AGREEMENT ? IS NORMAL? WHAT IF AFTER A YEAR THE INSURANCE CO. REFUSES TO SETTLE AND TRIAL IS THE ONLY OPTI...

    Ryan’s Answer

You should always hire an Attorney who is ready and willing to take on the case for the full duration. I would never represent a client in a personal injury matter without being dedicated to their individual needs. Even if that means avoiding settlement and going to trial.

    Ryan’s Answer

Most likely, the Settlement Agreement will dictate the dispursement of the monies. However, my office always makes sure that the full check comes to us so we can work out the payments for you. It can always be a bit confusing and I make sure that the process is smooth for you and, at the same time, done ethically and professionally.

    Ryan’s Answer

As per the injuries, if you have any, you would need to look at the Auto Inusrance Policy of the vehicle you were operating to see if it is covered under the Uninsured/Underinsured Motorist Coverage provision of the policy. Also, you should look at your own Policy to see if you are covered under these situations. As per the traffic violations, you should speak with the State's Attorney/Prosecutor before your actual Hearing to see if you can work anything out. On both fronts, you may want to consult with an Attorney's Office to discuss a strategy. Feel free to contact me as our office may be able to help you.

    Ryan’s Answer

You should first think about copyrighting your music. This way you have full ownership to the music and you will have freedom to use it as you wish.

You should always protect yourself with an Agreement at every stage of the process. An Agreement can protect your interests in the music. The percentage split is usually agreed upon between the parties, there is not a normal standard.
