I have consulted and used Attorney Shore on numerous occasions from housing information to custody battles. She has been honorable, professional and supportive in all aspects. Any time I have had a question she has been prompt and told it to me straight even if it was something I may not have wanted to hear. I would highly recommend Attorney Shore to anyone looking for someone who knows the law and has your best interest at heart.

I recently needed to modify my prior parenting plan due to the addition of a new child. I told Attorney Shore that I wanted to keep the matter amicable and she helped me to negotiate outside of court and then we only went to court to finalize the agreement. I really appreciated that she handled the matter the way that I asked her to and that she was non-confrontational to my ex. I think this probably helped keep my fees low too because there wasn't a lot of fighting back and forth. I had a great experience with Attorney Shore and would recommend her to friends or family.

I have a complex custody / contempt issue which I explained to Shore, in a costly first meeting - as they charge for the consult, and are pretty bullish about collecting the fee before Shore even comes in - pretty unnerving -
After explaining things fully, Shore agreed to represent me, and then collected the retainer, and went right through the money months before even getting to court with meaningless, historical research of the past case - which is not important to contempt issues. The fast pace, multi layered approach to charge from paralegal, attorney and receptionist just means the money goes fast, and everyone seems to have something to do on your file - thus spending money.
concerns over money being spent for nothing is only one issue - it seemed that my concerns were immediately rebuffed, and Shore seemed more like the judge than a representative. It was rare in my case that I felt Shore had my best interests at heart - and seemed to take the case, do what Shore felt necessary, told me things that she was going to do and then failed at those goals. Things like forcing agreements to be made, right in the court house, fast, and with errors.
All I wanted was an attorney to state the facts - not opinions. Did not want an attorney to tell me that my ideas were not important, and would not even do the things I had requested to try and reach an agreement -
my experience with this young, inexperienced, almost a bully was pretty negative - even questioning whether she ever had my best interests at heart - even when I paid good money to do it.
the past reviews of going through the retainer money are accurate - they spend the vast majority of my retainer making more copies of the same issues, courthouse issues and copies, and trips, and just poor management of the case, handling of the case, and handling the agreement.
One final aspect, was mentioned in other reviews as well - Shore does in fact have an attitude dealing with clients. Shore is young and does not have the experience to handle really complex cases. Shore also seems to be more concerned with her reputation and not trying to fix errors she made in my case. Clear errors, and Shore just stated over and over it is not a mistake, and she would not help further -
overall, I was never satisfied with the handling of my case, or being treated as a second class client - despite paying so much money, for so little results..

I would definitely recommend Attorney Shore to anyone trying to modify their parenting plan! She was more than helpful, and always quick to respond to my emails. She was very informed and patient with me. She always took the time to answer all of my questions no matter how many I had. I would definitely use her services again!!

I found myself in a custody battle about a year ago. I had looked and asked around for weeks and spent countless hours on researching the best attorney i can find. Shari Shore represented me, her fees were $325 an hour, her paralegal fees were $125 an hour, (for ex: every 1 minute email being read counted as $32.50 For Shari, responsing to the same email costed another $32.50.) There were multiple paralegals which were incompetent and racked up hundreds of dollars in fees just to plug my financial affidavit numbers into a computer. My financial affidavit had multiple mistakes on it in which the errors the paralegals made showed that I had more money than i really have. I had to do hours of work on my own to prove that i didn't have what the paralegal wrote down that i had. My $4,000 was already up BEFORE appearing in court for first time. A couple days before the first appearance i was told they needed at least another thousand before Shari would appear. Because she said waiting for family services would take hours, she pushed me into spending $6,000 for a GAL whom she said she knew and told me she knew it would be good for the case. It did not help the case at all, instead just prolonged the nightmare. I confronted her on her fee overages multiple times and it did not stop. Besides the fees, Shari would send time sensitive information to a wrong email address, causing confusion and more chaos to the case, the ONLY time she picked up the phone to call me was to ask me what i was looking for when we already discussed this in depth during our initial consultation. Please do yourself a favor and go elsewhere!

I retained Attorney Shore for a divorce agreement modification. All I can say is WOW. Hands down the best Attorney I have ever hired in my entire life. She is tough, smart, and not afraid to tackle difficult and sensitive issues with a firm and caring hand. I have never seen someone stand up for my rights in court the way that Attorney Shore did. She worked with me out of state, spent long hours on my case, all while she was EIGHT MONTHS PREGNANT. I can not put into words what her representation has meant to me and my family. If you do not hire Attorney Shore, you are not hiring the best.

I had a consultation with Shari and from the very beginning she was friendly, professional, and informative. So I hired Shari for a custody and child support matter. She returned my calls and answered my emails in a very professional and timely matter. Shari was always straight to the point without wasting any time, very knowledgeable, professional, precise, answered all my questions fully and clearly, and gave me different options in all case matters. She was always friendly and made me feel comfortable. The outcomes of my cases were better than I expected. I highly recommend Shari.

I rarely take time to post a review online, but I believe my review here is needed. Attorney Shore is pleasant and seems to be an ambitious young Attorney, but unfortunately she is lacking in ethics of the profession. I hired her for a divorce case after she agreed to a retainer of six thousands dollars that will cover everything unless the case goes for trial. That was our oral agreement, but she made me sign her regular contract that indicates replenishing the money when it falls lower than six hundred dollars. As we proceeded, she backtracked on the agreement requesting that she get more money from the opposing party- the income-making spouse because "he asked her if she is being paid". No wonder I felt from the "advice" or better " mis-advice" she had been giving me that her loyalty seemed to be with the opposing party. After a couple of months from hiring her I informed her that she was not representing my best interest and thus I ended her services. She accomplished NOTHING during that period and used up almost all of the retainer. I really hoped I would be writing a praise for Attorney Shore, but unfortunately I would be dishonest if I did that.

Shari helped me with an emotionally taxing custody matter. She was supportive, knowledgeable, and forthcoming with information. She was available reliably by phone and email with reassurances and information. The case was resolved with the best possible outcome and in an amazingly short time.

Shari is one of the most compassionate, patient lawyers I have had the pleasure to work with. She is understanding and hard working. She will tell you like it is and will not play games like some other lawyers, if she feels that what you are trying to do is not the right thing she will be up front and not just tell you but explain to you why and possibly come up with a different way to accomplish what needs to be done. She is one of the best.
