Most people assume that if you hire a lawyer you must be guilty. Whether or not I myself had committed a crime was not the reason for me to hire attorney Bly. I knew I was in some legal trouble and I wanted to make sure I was treated fairly and in accordance with the law. I feel that attorney Bly obtained all of the necessary facts and evidence pertaining to my case and I was confident that with his representation I would be far better off than tackling this on my own. He would promptly call me personally to explain situations or to let me know when there had been a change to my case and I always felt like he was just a phone call away. I would definitely recommend him to anyone in my situation.

Although I have never had to use a lawyer before and chose one completely with the help of the internet, I can't be more satisfied with who I chose. Bill did everything to help me out, even down to the last detail. He was always friendly, either him or his staff always got back to me timely, and I felt like I was in very good hands with his firm.
I highly recommend him to anyone who asks about what lawyer to use and I always say the same thing, he is on YOUR side. He was candid with me but did keep what I felt was my best interest in mind. I couldn't have asked for a better lawyer to help me with my legal trouble.

I hired Attorney Bly to represent me on a falsely accused OUI offense. He was very detailed and diligent in his representation of me, challenging every aspect of the case from the DMV hearing to trial. Bill understands the laws very well, is respected in the court room, and understands how to develop a working relationship with his clients. If you want an attorney that really invests his time and energy into holding the justice system accountable and protecting your constitutional rights, you want to hire Bill Bly. If I had to do it all over again, there is nobody else I would want on my side. The results speak for themselves, which was a not guilty verdict after I refused to take the breathalyzer. The relationship and respect I have for Bill after his efforts on my case will never be forgotten.

My case had me both concerned and agitated, due to being charged with an OUI where I blew under and had other mitigating factors that needed to be addressed by an experienced attorney who deals with all types of OUI charges. When I first contacted Bill, he gave me sound advice and information, thinking this charge would not even see the light of day, to which I agreed. Well, when the case was filed, I immediately contacted Bill after speaking to a couple of other attorneys. I felt a real connection to Bill; he was very candid and extremely knowledgeable, as well as friendly and funny. I can definitely see how he tips the scales when choosing an attorney, with these oustanding traits. Both Bill and his team, especially Laura, were so comforting and not bothered by my frequent calls and requests. Bill ended up delivering all of the details and information surrounding the case, where the D.A. was able to really see the picture clearly and hand down a reduction in the charge, where it will be erased after time. This is what we all knew the outcome should result in, but it is for the attorney like Bill to meticulously outline the details and fight for the accused. There is no other path I see, especially when from being out of state like myself, when it comes to securing an attorney who digs into the details and works non-stop. That attorney is Bill Bly.

After putting myself into a very bad situation, I gave Attorney Bill Bly a phone call and set up an appointment. Not having ever been in trouble before, I was confused by the situation and did fully understanding what was happened. Bill's no bs policy and straight shooting tactics on top of his extensive knowledge of the law put me as ease knowing that he was doing everything that needed to be done while I was able to continue to focus on the other priorities in my life. Bill was always accessible and answered any question I had very quickly. Bill was able to take a virtually unwinnable case and settle the case out of court for a greatly reduced charge. He was able to help me move on from a mistake that would of been detrimental to my career with minimal damage. I want to thank Bill for everything he did for me and would strong recommend him for anyone going through an OUI.

I am a Massachusetts resident who had the misfortune of being arrested for an OUI in Maine. This was the first time I have ever had a problem like this and had no idea what to do which caused me a lot of stress. The day after the incident I searched for a Lawyer in Maine and found Attorney Bly. I called and he took the time to talk to me that day on the phone, made me feel much better knowing I found someone who understood my problem and that relieved my stress. He handled all the paper work including telling me I did not need to travel back to Maine for the arraignment since he could go in my place. Dealing with him was easy even though I was 2 hours away, he was very prompt at returning calls and answering messages on MyCase platform. I feel he got me the best outcome in my case since I was facing mandatory jail time for refusing breathalyzer.

Just over 2 years ago While on vacation and visiting Maine from Florida I encountered probably the worst scenero I had ever faced. I was charged with an OUI and to make matters worse, I was from out of state and facing a feeling of utter helplessness. I searched the web and found Bill Bly. Upon meeting with him I found an overwhelming feeling of trust and confidence in his abilities. Bill shared each and every Pro/Con of the situation that I was facing. The entire court process was quite lengthy and stressful to my wife and I both, but at it's conclusion Bill was able to have my OUI DISMISSSED and pled to a far more favorable charge. This was of the upmost importance to my livelihood and future as I am a class A CDL holder and my license is everything to me. He never promised the world, only that he would do his very best for me and delivered superbly on that promise. I would recommend Mr. Bly to anyone who is up against a seemingly insurmountable mountain to climb. Thank you Mr. Bly for securing my life and future.

Mr. Bly was an excellent attorney throughout my case. He was professional and always responded to my emails in a timely manner. I do not live in Maine and Mr. Bly was always there to represent on my behalf. A conviction would have required jail time and Mr. Bly was fully prepared to take my case to trial. Fortunately for me, a deal was offered that Mr. Bly advised me to take and it couldn't have worked any better. I would highly recommend Mr. Bly if you need an attorney.

I did not know criminal speeding was a thing until I was pulled over in York going 60 in a 30 late for a wedding rehearsal. I felt so bad about the whole situation, knew I was in the wrong. The more I read about the seriousness of my situation the worse I felt. This was my first time being pulled over and I didn't know what to do.
Thankfully Bill was there to help. When I first talked to him he put me at ease saying there is much worse things I could have done and that if the right steps were taken we should be able to get it reduced. Out of everyone I consulted he was the only one with to say he wanted to do better than just getting my ticket reduced to non-criminal. Most made that sound difficult and a best case thing. While Bill did not provide any guarantees, he was confident in what he could do for me so I hired him.
He had me take an in person defensive driving class and send up my transcript (I am a college senior). I also did some volunteering which if you haven't done in awhile, like me, is a great way to make some new friends. Any question I had Bill was able to answer and he did so quickly. Being from out of state Bill was also able to make all appearances for me which I am extremely thankful for.
I'm sure Bill had many cases to handle the day of my dis-positional conference, and while mine was likely the most minor, he still called multiple time to explain how it was going. In the end he got the criminal charges dropped and my ticket reduced to 15 mph over the speed limit. I am extremely thankful and have learned my lesson. With Bills help and guidance I was able to make the right choices in my case and he was able to make my big mistake a minor one. Definitely give him a call.
