The Best Criminal Attorney in New Hampshire

If you by happenstance find yourself in a situation like me that you never expected to find yourself in and require the services of one of the top criminal attorneys in New Hampshire, if not all of New England, one could do no better than to select Charles (Chuck) Keefe to represent you. In addition ...to having incredible persuasive powers and a sharp intellect, Chuck is also very personable, a genuinely nice, friendly guy. He will immediately make you feel at ease and if he decides to take on your case, you will feel confident that things are now under control. One reason Chuck is so well respected and feared in the court rooms around New Hampshire is because as a former prosecutor, he can think like the opposition and knows how strong or weak a case from a legal perspective the DA’s office may have. As a former prosecutor he’s also very well-known and still has strong relationships, not only with sitting Judges in the District and Superior courts of N.H. but also with various DA’s around the state. Chuck knows the weaknesses as well as the strengths in preparing for trial against many DA’s. When sitting Judges in the state hire Chuck to represent their own family members in need of legal assistance, you know he’s the kind of defense attorney you want on your side. The combination of Chuck’s sharp legal mind, his incredible persuasive powers combined with his likability, makes him a formidable opponent you want on your side in the court room if you’re facing trail or a serious charge. You should of course interview multiple defense attorney’s before settling on a choice. In my experience, I ran into two basic types of defense attorney’s when I needed help on my felony charge. There are some attorney’s that will pressure you into immediately giving them a quick $5,000.00 as a retainer, but who will never tell you upfront that they have no real expectations of ever taking your case to trail (please deal only) and other’s like Chuck, that are honest and level with you, explaining that preparing for trail is sometimes a very costly process and could run into several thousand dollars before all is said and done. That being said, you don’t want cheap, you want the best and if you want the best, smart people choose Chuck. On the plus side, Chuck will most certainly if needed, work out an agreeable fee schedule with you over a period of several months, as he did with me, to retain his legal services. Now if you’re facing a serious charge or a number of multiple charges as I was, you must also do yourself a big favor and help Chuck understand the details and nuances of your case that might not be readily apparent to him. Spend some serious time going over the discovery or evidence against you in detail, line by line, paragraph by paragraph. Do you own research on the discovery and provide Chuck with details he might otherwise overlook. I was facing a serious Class A felony charge and two Class A misdemeanor charges. Thanks to Chuck, the prosecutor dropped the felony charge, dismissed one of the misdemeanor charges and I was found innocent in a bench trial on the remaining misdemeanor charge. Chuck is indispensable if you find yourself in a serious legal matter as I was. Please run, don’t walk to hire him as your criminal defense attorney.

Superb Attorney and held in my highest regard

I have worked in law enforcement so I am very familiar with the legal process and statutes of law. I found myself in an awful situation in May 2011. I was charged with two counts of simple assault against my own sister. She was not the complaining party. It was actually the center for life manage...ment in Derry, NH. One staff member there alleged that I grabbed my sister's wrist and grabbed her cheek in a hostile manner. The other staff member, a nurse, alleged that I grabbed my sister's wrist. Both women twisted and manipulated a story from their own imagination. They failed to admit that I was actually demonstrating self defense techniques with my sister. The police did not interview me or my sister. The local prosecutor asked me to plead guilty to one charge in exchange for dropping another. Of course, I would not do so because the charges should never have been filed. The prosecutor refused to even speak with my sister, the alleged victim, about her version of what occurred. Attorney Keefe instilled my confidence in his abilities to take this matter to trial. He was very cordial and informative throughout the entire process. He returned my phone calls and emails promptly. I was not able to pay the entire retainer up front due to financial constraints and he worked out an agreed upon installment plan. The case recently went to trial. My sister never even had to testify on my behalf. Attorney Keefe was thoroughly prepared to defend me. He showed repeated inconsistencies in both witnesses'(staff members for CLM) testimony. Through his conscientious preparation, Attorney Keefe was able to show that each witness had a different version of what occurred the day in question. After his thorough direct and cross examination, objections when necessary, and skill as an attorney the case was dismissed. I give Attorney Charles Keefe the highest rating possible in all categories. He is a true professional and seasoned attorney. I felt very safe and confident in his ability to defend me.
