After I was arrested, I called attorney Keefe. He agreed to meet with me and I drove to his office so we could sit down and discuss the circumstances around my arrest and criminal background (before I decided to hire him) all free of charge. He was a nice, understanding, and compassionate guy from th...e start. I think these are important qualities in an attorney...clients need to be able to trust their attorney's and feel confident that they will stand up for them no matter what. Mr. Keefe is more than trustworthy and I had the complete confidence in his abilities. After we agreed that he would be my attorney, he started working on my case right away. My favorite part about working with Charles was that he was always extremely responsive...I could call or text him on his cell phone after hours during the week and even on the weekend. He would always either get back to me right away or answer his phone, even if I just had a simple question. I knew going into this court case there was going to be a possibility I would be going to jail. I remember when I first met Charles he said to me, "my clients don't go to jail." I hoped I would be one of those clients that didn't go to jail. However, at first the prosecutor on my case wanted me to serve 30 days for a drug charge. My family was devastated. But, Charles never gave up. He knew that the punishment the prosecutor was asking for didn't warrant the situation and he knew it didn't make sense to send me to jail. He kept fighting and fighting for no jail time. Eventually, he won. The prosecutor changed her mind and I ended up with probation. I would consider that a win any day. If attorney Keefe didn't work as hard as he did, I don't know what the outcome would have been. But I do know that attorney Keefe was worth every last penny. He is extremely trustworthy and he stands up for what he believes in, and that is his clients. If I ever find myself needing a criminal defense lawyer again I will undoubtedly call Keefe again. I would absolutely recommend him to anyone who needs a criminal defense lawyer!
