I've thought hard about what to write here without sounding like a commercial.. So I'll keep it short and sweet. I was arrested in March 2015. Long story short Chuck reviewed the case and said he could def. help me. Then he honestly went to bat for me like a champion. He got some serious charges redu...ced to a much more reasonable minor offence. Justice was served in my opinion thanks to Chuck. Attorney Charles Keefe is patient, kind and attentive. His knowledge of NH law is unsurpassed. He was recommended to me by numerous people who had used his services in the past and had successful outcomes in difficult situations. I was stopped for not changing lanes for an emergency vehicle on the... side of the road. This is known as the "move over law". I was unfamiliar with the law and was expecting to take the next exit. After spending considerable amount of time on the side of the road, the troopers arrested me for DUI, resisting arrest and for the failure to move over to an emergency vehicle. During trial, Attorney Keefe was quick to point out the lack of evidence the troopers had for making me exit the vehicle. He was also successful in having everything that took place after exiting the vehicle suppressed. The result of the trial was favorable. All charges were dropped with the exception of the "failure to move over". Had Attorney Keefe not been successful, it would have resulted in loss of license for a extended amount of time and all the painful procedures which come from a DUI charge. While working with Attorney Keefe's law office, I found not only him, but his administrator and his legal assistant to be extremely professional and responsive to my many phones call and inquiries. All the responses I received were prompt, complete and sensitive to my concerns. Attorney Keefe did an amazing job, went above and beyond the call of duty, spent extra time and effort on this case, but never charged more than the agreed upon price. Quite often when working with the legal system, one feels like a victim of that system. It's of the utmost importance to find a lawyer who not only knows the system, but works for you the client, instead of just going through the motions. My loved one had this lawyer pull out on him 10 days prior to trial because he did not have enough time. Months earlier at first pre trial hearing he was not ready and it went like that every step of the way. Family and client called, no calls were returned and secretary never had an answer to where... he was. Totally left in the dark for a year- new lawyer is moving process along.
