I've met a lot of lawyers. You have the public defenders who would be capable and do mean well but suffer from overwhelming work load. You have the know it all fat cats that despite their calm confident demeanor they tend to patronize you and disregard your choices but not your money. Theres the fl...ashy lawyers with the rediculously expensive car and the appearance of success but upon seeing their office your left wondering how much of who they say they are and can do is actually a lie. The list goes on and on in varying degrees but continues to give validity to the old saying "blood sucking lawyer." But for those of you lucky enough to be reading this and unsure who to turn to. You've just found the very rarest of lawyer types, the honest one. Mr. Keefe took over as my council after I was schemed out of $20,000 that backed me into wall and gave me no hope of forming a case. Luckily they had tricked me into previously signing a guilty plea so I didnt need to go to trial where they would need to work. So I had my reserves when meeting Chuck for my defense in a sentence review that aimed to put me in prison unnecessarily and without reason. My son found himself in a really bad situation and the cops charged him with some really serious stuff. As his dad I was really scared for him.
