I found myself in a spot I never thought I would be - needing a criminal defense lawyer. My mother had been a juror on a criminal case and told me how great the defense lawyer in that case was and she remembered his name. I called Chuck and explained to him what had happened - I was arrested for a ...class A felony because a state trooper wanted to ruin my life. I couldn't believe what was happening. Everything I had worked so hard for was in danger of going away. Chuck was great from the start - he calmed me down, answered my questions, explained everything to me, and came up with a plan. We had a probable cause hearing in the case where the judge basically told the prosecutor and the trooper that their case was bs. Chuck kept pounding away on them until the charge was dismissed. I cannot explain how thankful and grateful I am. Also, my mom was really happy to be able to meet him and talk to him after being a juror on one of his cases. I had a public defender for my first case and I basically was forced into taking a deal that I shouldn't have. I got arrested again after that and they wanted to put me in jail for a year. I was so scared and I begged my parents to hire a good lawyer. My dad found Mr. Keefe. He jumped on my case righ...t away and fought did me. The prosecutor wouldn't agree to anything, so we had to have a trial in the new charge and a hearing on whether I had to go to jail for violating my first sentence. My public defender told me to take a deal so I would only go to jail for 6 months. Thank god my dad found Mr. Keefe. He made sure I didn't spend a day in jail or have another conviction. Thank you!!
