True Advocate and winner

Justin was awesome not only in getting a result I could not have imagined by getting all charges dropped, but his overall demeanor and communication and willingness to help even after case is over to get arrest annulled and work on internet/media issues.

Godsend

I want to preface this by saying that Justin Shepherd was a Godsend when I needed him most. Last year, I had gotten into legal trouble after after a dispute with the police. I showed up to my arraignment without a lawyer or really an understanding of what to do or where to go. Justin was there repres...enting someone else. Seeming as though he was incredibly approachable, I subtly asked him if I could speak to him in the hall after the arraignment, to which he told me exactly what to do and say when it was my turn to be called. After, we talked in the hall for the next hour or so about not only my legal situation, but about my life in general. I am forever thankful for what he has done for me and still continues to do. We are currently in the process of getting my charges annulled, which I would have never known to be a thing if it was not for him. Not only did he help me legally, but he also became an inspiration. I am taking the LSAT in February in hopes of getting into law school for next fall. It wouldn't have been possible without Justin. Very long story short, I highly recommend Justin Shepherd.

Actually cares about his clients

I came across Justin after a bad experience with another attorney. There was very little communication (often failed to reply to my emails or return my phone calls). He had shared no information about the case or his plans for it, and from the get-go, he tried to convince me to plead guilty to a misd...emeanor because the prosecutor was "absolutely unwilling to budge." At the courthouse, all of the other attorneys there knew each other and we're having friendly conversations amongst themselves. The only one who was not associating with the others was this attorney. He was very arrogant and treated his clients as just his sources of income, with no real care for them. He thought he was superior over everybody else and looked down upon others. To top it off, I had to file a claim with the NH bar's ethics board because he had me pay up front and was unwilling to refund even part of it, despite not having completed much of the services that his contract stated. He and his assistant ignored my communication attempts at asking if I could get at least a partial refund. He charged double what many others charge, and was going to have me plead guilty to a misdemeanor. I sought out Justin for a second opinion. He recommended I not plead guilty to a misdemeanor. He kept me informed about the case and his plan. He talked to the same prosecutor and with Justin, she was willing to reduce the charge to a non-criminal violation to be expunged in a year. What a difference in outcome and experience! He completely saved my career. He was always responsive and willing to help, and made it feel as though he actually really cares about his clients as people, not as his money. He was not money hungry, was very trusting of his clients, and did not make it seem as though he was doing it for merely the money. He didn't think he was superior over his clients and was always very humble. He was more than friendly, always made time for me, and took care of everything for me. What a great guy! And his dog who hangs out at his office is super sweet, friendly, and therapeutic. He must get it from his owner. I'm hoping to never again be in a situation where I would require Justin's services, but if it were to ever happen, he'd be the first person I'd be asking for help from.
