No Fault case

You get what you pay for. He seems overworked, but has a very complex knowledge of contract law. Dovitz practices a little on the "safe" side and is not really a good negotiator. I spoke with the defense counsel and got my claim bumped up almost 6 grand . On my own reconnaissance

BIG MISTAKE

Big mistake allowing a lawyer who obtained my case from another without my knowledge. I had no opportunity to interview him. He works alone, one secretary. He seeks no outside help or other opinions when puzzled. He never read my medical records prior to going to the hearing. He has never heard of a ...D.L.I. issue before my case. (date last insured) I notified him of the D.L.I. issue one day before my hearing. He said "attorneys don't usually handle the I.R.S" and left me to correct the records on my own. He lied to me about his failure to send in a simple request for an in-person hearing. When asked about the request he said "they denied that". Later that year during a meeting with him I demanded the letter that gave the reason why my request was denied. He then said "Oh yeah, we did not get that in on time." He lies to his own clients. He failed to challenge key issues on my medical records because his opinion was that "the medical evidence will outweigh any errors in the reports" That was wrong. His advice is bad. During my hearings he had no notes, said nothing and did nothing when I needed his help to continue with my explainations. He was looking at his watch, no notes in front of him when looked over to him for help. I got denied again, because of a doctor who wrote a summery from my 300+ word medical complaint. In his 50 word summery he found it necessary to insert the word "work" in front of my answer about "how I got money" The doctor was told I was not working, and that I had a dissability claim. He was specificlally told I sold a pile of bricks my roommate dumped behind my garage, not work, just a sale. He was told not to consider it work, yet he wrote that anyway. Doug said "that wont matter, the medical will be enough". Wrong again. Don't hire this guy, you will never get your benefits.
