About me

My passion to help people less fortunate than myself initially led me to law school.  Upon graduating from Penn, I went to work for the Legal Aid Society in Brooklyn, New York in the Criminal Defense Division.  I worked there for a number of years, until my husband's job required us to move.  I continued to work as a public defender for many years, in many states, and helped an innumerable number of clients with their criminal and family law cases.  Ultimately, when i had my second child, I left public interest law, and went into private practice.  I have been in private practice since 2002, and i continue to take on pro bono cases so that i can help those less fortunate.

When i am not practicing law, you can find me volunteering in my children's elementary, middle and high school, on the tennis court, or out running the streets of Newton and Boston.

  • A Joseph Ross

I endorse this lawyer. I recently referred a client to her, and she got a great result, and the client told me that he was happy with the outcome. I would be happy to refer my clients to her again in her areas of expertise.
