We met Peter by accident in the halls of the district courthouse, when the school system brought us and our 14-year old daughter before the judge due to school refusal. Middle school was a traumatic experience for her socially; a brilliant child (with purportedly mild autism) she gained 60 pounds her... first year and developed OCD.
