Awesome Divorce Attorney!

Folks, there are few decisions in life more important financially than your selection of a lawyer to handle your divorce. I looked here on Avvo and saw Lauren listed as one of the best in Boston. I decided to go with her, and I am so thankful I did. Here are my 8 reasons why I recommend you hire ...Lauren: 1. She's incredibly knowledgeable of THE LAW. You'd be surprised at how many lawyers don't know or understand the very laws they cite. Lauren knows. 2. She is extremely good at procedure. As an experienced attorney, she knows how things should work and instantly spots when things are going sideways. She knows how to fix them. She also knows when your assigned judge isn't going to bite. 3. She is one of the hardest-working people I know. Day or night, rain or shine, she's working--whether she's answering your emails or texts, returning your calls, or writing your motions. 4. She is no non-sense. She will call BS on opposing counsel in a heartbeat...but she'll also call BS on you too. Trust me: you will need this sometimes. She is not going to tell you only what you want to hear. Also, she'll manage you and your suspenses when its time for you to do some work on your own cause. 5. She is timely and punctual. She gets her work done on time, and she hits the milestones on her schedule. She is on time, and she doesn't waste time. If you're looking for slack, go somewhere else. 6. She is a fighter. She likes to get in there and mix it up. She is fearless. Through all of her fighting is an underlying belief in you and your cause and a genuine will to protect you. She takes her job seriously. 7. She knows when to deal. Look, you can't win everything. Unless you've got a rock-solid, air-tight, case (with pictures, texts, and mountains of evidence), at some point, you will need to compromise. When it's time, she rolls her sleeves up, puts away the spears, and deals. 8. She can take a punch. Divorce is a stressing time. You're going to have some really upsetting things happen to you. You're going to say and be told some really s$%ty things--things that will make you madder than you've ever been before. You may inadvertently lash out at your attorney. This is part of the deal, and Lauren knows this. She won't get offended. She'll give you space and check on you later. Over the last 15 months of working with Lauren on my divorce and related actions, I have come to trust her. I know she is watching out for my best interests. She has great legal instincts, and she gives super advice. If you want the best, look no further. Pick Lauren Popovitch.

Toughest Family Lawyer

If you want to give yourself the very best chance of prevailing in court, then hire Attorney Popovitch. I’ve been in an out of Middlesex family court multiple times over the last 20 years for divorce proceedings, custody and support issues, and various cross complaints for contempt. I wasted tens... of thousands of dollars on different attorneys who put forth a pro forma effort. I also represented myself pro se, and didn’t do much worse. Recently, my ex returned for a sizable, last-gasp money grab, so I decided I needed to find intelligent and aggressive representation. After scouring internet reviews, I contacted Attorney Popovitch. Turned out to best decision I ever made. Attorney Popovitch saw me within days for an initial consultation. She poured over my documents like a physician in triage, and quickly zeroed in on the relevant case law among the stacks of binders marked with post-it notes covering her desk. Her initial assessment of the strength of my case was ultimately borne out in the final court judgment. You will be hard-pressed to find a more zealous attorney to represent your interests. Indeed, the sweat was literally pouring off opposing counsel during our hearing. She is also scrupulously frank, so expect to hear the hard truth if you don’t have a case. She is extremely focused and cost-conscious, so does not waste any time or money. Another advantage of retaining Attorney Popovitch is that she is intimately familiar with the Middlesex court. She is a fierce -- no ferocious -- advocate who knows her stuff inside and out.

Had my back all the way!

So there's that moment you realize you need a lawyer, and the search begins. You feel totally lost, and never thought you'd even need a lawyer, but you do. And then you find someone like Lauren, meet with her, and all of a sudden you can breathe again. During our first meeting, I explained my situati...on: a long-term domestic partnership break-up with shared property (condo purchase) and other financial complications on the line. I was feeling pressured to concede to money to my ex-partner during an initial mediation session, and it did not sit right with me, since I knew my rights as an unmarried cohabitant. It was complicated, because of the long-term nature of my relationship with my partner, she was like my wife, like family, but not legally or technically ever my wife. So the lines were blurry to me, but not to Lauren. When I couldn’t find a way to resolve issues with my partner in mediation I turned to Lauren for advice on the law, my rights, and how to resolve the dispute with my partner. I felt like I was in good hands; I had Lauren's wisdom, insights, experience, and tough-but-fair approach on my side. And she’s funny! She was confident that, after hearing my side of the situation, that it would settle, and she knew how to get a positive outcome. She led me through all the steps needed to get our situation to settle and for me to come away with a very fair financial outcome. I have no complaints. My voice was heard. I was consulted on every step, and she took my feeling and concerns into consideration. To put it plainly, by going with Lauren, I didn't get screwed or give up a more then I should. It was a difficult couple of months, but Lauren had my back all the way. She’s an excellent communicator and very organized and professional. I can't recommend her enough.
