Amazing lawyer!

The first time i met Mr. Higgins was in court, I was arrested on a disorderly conduct charge while on a continuance without a finding charge out of a different court. I thought for sure my life was over and i would be going to jail for this ridiculous arrest. Nevertheless Mr. Higgins advised me tha...t he would get the case dismissed on arraignment. And without a doubt that is exactly what he accomplished. Mr. Higgins is a stand up gentleman which knows the system extremely well. He is young man with drive and admiration without his counsel i am not sure i would have gotten the outcome he had provided. I give my highest recommendation with out any hesitation to this man. I have worked with lawyers in the past that seem to just want your money, Mr. Higgins is not like that at all, he truly just enjoys helping people. With that said it would be in your best interest to give this man a call for any condition. 5 stars!

Joe did a great job!

Joe was great helping assist with my traffic violation. Joe's patience explaining the process, advice regarding the violation, and legal knowledge made the experience painless. I plan on using Joe again and will recommend him.

Did he do anything?

A few years ago, I was charged with my 2nd OUI case, my lawyer, Joe Higgins knew that I was able to appeal my chemical refusal test but did not educate me the consequences of not appealing. That would mean 3 years automatic with no hardship if you don’t appeal within the given days that they grant yo...u. I could have appealed! Then, at the time of my court appearance for my case, he did not show up and sent one of his colleague and at the second court date, he sent the same person. Mind you, at the time I was in a terrible state of mind of what I was going through and I trusted him. Now that I’m back to my normal life, finished all the programs and classes, I regret hiring and wasting $2500 on something that I could’ve done myself. I ended up pleading guilty. I got 5 years suspension, 2 weeks in half-away home, aftercare programs, and 40 AA meetings... which I would’ve gotten without a lawyer. Oh and I had travel plans for work and he was going to charge me $2000 to get a travel permit! When all I had to do was show up in court and ask for permission and it was granted, FOR FREE! Awful, awful people. I wish I never sent you those cupcakes! You all are full of bullshit!

Dear Former, Existing, and Potential clients: I am unsure of the identity of the person who wrote this negative review, but it is certainly not reflective of the quality of service that my office provides. My entire law practice is devoted to OUI defense and Registry of Motor Vehicles matters. I advise all of my clients as to their options, the consequences of exercising such, and the associated driver's license ramifications. Don't hire him if you have a difficult case

I feel the attorney took my money knowing he couldn't win the case. He made it seem like he would do everything he could but when it came down to it he didn't fight for me at all. I would have been better off and probably would have received the same sentence with a court appointed attorney. Do yours...elf a favor and look for a different attorney!
