3rd offense

The consequences for a 3rd OUI conviction are severe. 6 months in jail and and felon status in society. I wanted to hire the best representation I could find so I contacted someone that works in the courtroom and has perspective - the attorney that represented me 10 years ago - he referred me to ...Joe. Hiring Joe was a great choice for me. It was a long process and I felt the weight of my circumstances every day - but hiring Joe gave me confidence that an expert was assessing the facts of the case, determining a strategy, and would execute on that plan on my behalf. In court Joe was precise, efficient and effective in his questioning. Not guilty on charges, not responsible for lane violation, judge accepted motion for license return. I am a satisfied client and would recommend Joe without hesitation.

Best DUI attorney in the south shore

I highly recommend Joe Higgins if you are in need of DUI defense. From the first meeting all the way to the dismissal of the case, his communication, professionalism, and skill were second to none. He was very responsive through out the whole process and made sure to explain every step of the proces...s as it was happening. A DUI is a stressful situation in any one’s life, do yourself a favor and hire Joe to take some of that stress away! He was able to get my case dismissed and he made the path to the dismissal much less stressful

Second OUI

I was very lucky to have chosen Attorney Higgins to represent me when I was charged with a 2nd OUI which was a devastating event for me. He was extremely professional during the entire process and very helpful. His true brilliance was reflected in how he conducted himself in the trial, he was spectac...ular. His knowledge of his subject, his intelligent cross examination of the police officer and ability to point out to the inadequacies of the evidence presented against me was what led me to get a verdict of not guilty. He truly is the best at what he does. I highly recommend him for anyone who has been charge with an OUI. He has made a big difference in my life.

Expert advice and representation

Atty. Higgins was very knowledgeable in my complex case and was able to take the time to explain in simple terms what the options were. Although difficult, he was able to successfully resolve the matter in an expedient time frame. Anyone who is skillful in their own profession can recognize the sam...e in others practicing theirs.

1st OUI Not guilty

Im happy to write this review knowing the person reading this Doesn’t need to look any further for an OUI attorney. I had hired Joseph Higgins after firing my original attorney I had hired for my 1st Oui offense. What a night and day difference let me tell you! Here I am in a jam just fired my lawyer... have trial set for the following week didn’t know what to do then I found attorney Higgins . From the second attorney Higgins took my case over I felt instant relief of stress. He always answered all my texts/calls promptly and communicated very well making sure I always knew what was going on with my case at all times also explaining what he thought my best options were. When it came to trial I was impressed by his professionalism ,confidence,calm compulsure and the absolute clinic he put on during his cross examination of a police officer. I was Found not guilty of first offense OUI after crashing my truck into a telephone pole. I couldn’t thank or recommend Attorney Higgins enough
